Galley! It's a patience game. Recognize the privileges u already have - after all, yours is an AOS case, which indicates that your family is together in the same place (the US), and that there are many families who have been backlogged to endure this horrendous wait apart for years, some of whom are still a whole year at the first leg of the nightmare process. Yes, its infuriating, but so what.

How many of you guys are stuck with pending review of DS-260? Completed my DS-260 on 16-Apr-2015 and I'm still waiting on it being reviewed, nearly 3 months now, so infuriating!!!! :ranting: :ranting: :ranting: :ranting:

My wife is not in US and we have been apart for nearly year before I went to see her last month to celebrate our anniversary. If you don't understand the frustration I don't know what to tell ya.

I think we can all agree, that regardless of the visa process and timescales that we are each bound with, that the amount of time taken would be frustrating enough without departmental delays but add those into the mix and it's a right pain in the butt - and looking at people's individual circumstances it would seem that most hit some kind of departmental ineptitude along the way!

Hope yours is resolved sooner rather than later :)

If I recall correctly I couldn't access the form until the IV fee showed as paid AND until NVC reviewed my DS-261 which took them nearly a month as opposed to the usual 10 days. However, isn't your situation slightly different with the whole DS-261 because you have a lawyer?

I'd be surprised if it's any less than 10 days, especially as the whole country seems to stop working for four days over this weekend period!

EDIT: To access DS-260, go into 'invoice receipts' section on the CEAC site, click on the 'select' button where it says 'IV 325$ paid', scroll to bottom of page and select 'IV processing instructions', et voila.

This is getting f'ing ridiculous. So, nothing happened of my escalation of Supervisor review from May 26. They again initiated another supervisor review for DS-260 on Jul-01 and they said again my timeframe of 42 days for review starts all over again. So pissed off!!!!! :ranting::ranting::ranting::ranting:

Magazine - I'm really sorry this is happening :( I had some trouble getting someone to review my 9 y/o daughter's DS260 as well.... I'll keep my fingers crossed it's resolved soon!!

Una - Awesome news :) My DS 260 became available about 36 hours after I paid the fee - sooner than I had expected! The other way to access it is to click the third 'tab' "IV Application" at the top right of the page (under the US DOS banner)...... It will remain inactive/greyed out until it is available...

Take your time going through it!! It's a long one :P

Please lady. Only three months ago I was ranting when my app got stuck 3 months beyond normal processing times, and you response to me was to "CHILL".

Nowadays u all "sorry" that someone else is stuck in a similar rut. I guess your change of tone is because u now yourself in the stink hole to some degree, isn't it Smh !!!

Thanks for all the tips and tricks, ChristinaG !!!

You are right. I called them before and they said since I have a lawyer there was no need for DS261, they sent the invoices straight to the lawyer (both of them) and when the CEAC site was back up, I was able to pay both one after the other.

Now they show as "in process", I suppose it will take a few days for it to update so we can fill out DS260. I will keep checking though, hopefully we will also have it update within 36 hrs or so!

We are back in the NVC train... I appreciate all your help and support!

We are waiting for the lawyer to tell us what documents is she missing (since she had most for the i130)... I have the packets ready, post its and all... if it wasn't for the fact that we already paid her I would have sent them in yesterday!!! :luv:
