Yeah I called and was told the darn old gist " Nebraska is still working on july 16th 2014 cases" but was also told that they may have passed that date but they only update their site once in a month

Has anyone whose case is at Nebraska called recently? I am planning to call again on Monday but just wanted to see if anyone has gotten any updates.

Our I-130 was approved by Nebraska on Jan 22 (our filing acceptance date was August 6 2014) receipt LIN1490960xxx. I received the approval notice by mail today. If you have your LIN number handy you can use numbers up and down of yours on uscis.gov to see if I130's next to yours are being approved. They are not approving number in order (from what I can see from using this technique to see where they are in approvals). There is a large block of I130 numbers from Aug 1 that are still in waiting approval status and some in July that have not been approved. Perhaps some cases are easier to process than others, in our case my husband had several prior US visas and excellent arrival/departure record so he was probably already in the system and easier to approve (just a theory). But anyways definitely Aug 6 got approved by Nebraska on Jan 22. If you are close to our date, your approval should be coming soon

The priority date was Aug 4th.

When u call your going to have to speak to a tier 2 cause the tier 1 know nothing..when i called the tier 2 told me my case was being reviewed just wait for my approval

My case was sent to NVC on the 20th November 2014. Still awaiting for any reply from NVC. I am also thinking to call on Monday and at least get a case number or something.
