Im so happy right now!! Just checked our case status and it was APPROVED!!! Thank you GOD!! :):) We had one RFE (they didnt have my passport pics) but i took care of that immediately and now, one week later we are approved!! yay!!!

congratulations, I bet you are super happy! Cant wait to hear all the good news coming our way. Yay!!!

23-SEPT-2015 Interview!! - They asked for a joint sponsor - received hated 221g form (at least it wasn't a "NO")
25-NOV-2015 Finally sent the documents required with 221g form...
30-NOV-2015 They updated my case file on CEAC but still reads "Admin Processing"..(crossing fingers)

14-DEC-2015 They "touched" and update my case file at the embassy, still under AP

28-DEC-2015 They touched my file again...still under AP

29-DEC-2015 !!!! VISA ISSUED - According to CEAC site...yay!! (now waiting to see when we can pick up)

Congratulations! Great news! Were you expedited or just got through really quickly?

Good luck at NVC!

thank you so much :) i tried to get an expedite twice but was denied both times. One thing i did do tho was contact both my state rep and senator when i tried to get the expedite approved. I don't know if that helped me or not but at least i know that my rep and senator both took my concerns seriously and interceded for me. I'm still on cloud 9 :) Can't wait for the next part. We are READY!! :) :)

Hi Ryan,

I see. So is that the only way to do it? Can i choose to combine my parent income with my mine by have them both file i-864A? I am just curious. If it possible, which way you think it better because my mom also petition for my grandma at the same time. So i wondering if she need to count my grandma as a household member in her i-864A/i864 for my wife even though my grandma not here yet? Thanks so much for your time. Your info helped alot.

Logically I know it is not going to happen without some sort of miracle..... but all I want for my birthday (today) or for Christmas (next week) s our NOA2! LOL :) :)

I've been watching the progress in the June & July threads to watch the approval dates get closer, and for the most part the look to be working pretty close to the 5 month mark.....

Well Guys (Gals too) December is almost Gone TSC estimate is July 1st today. Makes me Happy and Nervous for the Next Step. I miss my Honey all the time. Thank God for technology or else I would've gone Nuts! Here's to time passing by.

Not sure how to correctly answer this. If your grandmother had already arrived in the US, then that particular I-864 is in force and the answer would be clear, your mom would have to count your grandmother in her household count. But since that process is still pending, I don't know what the correct answer is.

January 28, 2014: Production of new Green Card ordered

December 18, 2023:  Filed I-90 to renew Green Card

December 21, 2023:  Production of new Green Card ordered - will be seeing USCIS again every 10 years for renewal
