Hello everyone

So i'm finally here in the USA and MARRIED! Thanks so much for all your help the last time as without this website me and my now wife would have been stuck in limbo thanks to our hopeless lawyer!

Any who now i'm here i need help on the next step. As i said we got married officially last week & now need to know what to do. What we understood was to take two copies of our marriage certificate to our local USCIS office which is in Atlanta along with our other forms ie medical etc to change my visa statues to get a green card.

However after finding a guide on here people are saying i need to go to an approved doctor for injections etc and fill in forms before going. I had several injections before i left the UK but the whole injection list process was confusing especially when people gave conflicting what i needed and didn't or what i have had and have not had.

I have looked at the flow chart guide but is slightly confusing about what is actually needed.

Would again be so grateful for your guys help on this, as i'm keen to work asap and really be able to live a normal life without worrying about forms etc know you guys know what that is like.

Thanks again

You don't bring all papers to local USCIS office. You have to send those papers to Chicago Lockbox,

Here the guide how to adjust of your status from K-1 visa.

thanks for your help will get on following that guide. I have found a civil surgeon locally am i right in guessing they are going to cost allot to get the remaining injections?

Here is Nich-Nick's helpful post for you to check whether you need to see a civil surgeon (CS) for the I-693 or not: http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/428381-i-693-report-of-medical-examination-and-vaccination-report/?p=6206232

In summary, you don't need to see a CS if your overseas medical was taken within the year prior to the I-485 filing and all the required vaccinations are given and well-documented on your DS-3025.

Do you have any missing required vaccinations? If you could post your DS-3025 here with your personal information redacted, somebody here might be able to help you judge if you still need to see a CS.

The only jabs I had were 1 MMR and TD, got them done at medical in London. Didn't need anything else. If they are marked on your DS 3025 then you should be good to go. And you have had chickenpox or else you might need varicella jab.
