Please do help, I have a friend who is so confused about their case. They got petition approved already but their supposed to be shipped to Nvc files was sent back to USCIS again for additional 60 days review.

Who experienced the same thing? please do share your insights.

60 days? Even for k1? I thought it was just a quick stop? I know other cases actually get reviewed there...

It appears, at least from this thread (http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/508278-cr1-nvc-delay-just-got-this-email-from-nvc/), that K-1 filers didn't receive the same notice about the increased wait times. Can anyone else confirm?

Are you sure it got sent back to USCIS? Some members here received a letter last week saying to expect increased processing times (60 days) at NVC. But USCIS and NVC are two different

entities.

Yes, it was sent back to USCIS for additional 60 days review. It is now in the USCIS and not in NVC.

I also read the one who is waiting for additional 60days review in NVC. My friend's case is opposite.
