How can someone already in power launch a Coup?

I have had this conversation about the UK and their Royalty, I point out that we do not give them any power and they cost a lot lot less.

And as far as the last few incumbents well .....

It does seem odd that in a population of 300 million plus it seems impossible to find/elect a half decent half competent individual.

And then you look at the next election and consider the likely candidates and weep.

Our democratic senate candidate here in gawga, is running on altering the 1st amnd to stop pac money. She is going to get slaughtered

The only problem I have with that is she wants to stop the main money sources for the pubs, but the Dem money sources will not be curtailed
