Ok. I see based on your visa category that you were petitioned by an LPR parent. Therefore, since you are now an LPR you can get married and it will not affect your LPR status. You would have to go back to Pakistan to get married though. I don't think you can get married over the phone, if that's what you meant, it wouldn't be valid for immigration purposes. Since you are F2B, your wife will be able to come as F2A, which right now it's taking about 2 years. The priority dates were current last year, but since they have retrogressed, which is why it's taking a while. This is the only way to petition her since LPR's can't file for a fiance visa. Also the petition itself can take up to 2 years to be approved if the priority dates don't become current again. Add to that the NVC processing from a few months to a year or more.

Here is some info:

http://travel.state.gov/content/visas/english/immigrate/types/family/family-preference.html

http://www.uscis.gov/family/family-us-citizens/spouse/bringing-spouses-live-united-states-permanent-residents

Also if you or your wife have any minor (under 21) unmarried children, you don't have to file a separate petition for them. Just remember to include them on her petition and they will be able to immigrate with her. The instructions are incorrect about this, I already tried contacting USCIS to fix it, but they haven't done so.

This does not constitute legal advice.

Go back to Pakistan and get married there.

One year or more for F2A category (Spouse/Child of LPR), movement depends on the Visa Bulletin. http://travel.state.gov/content/visas/english/law-and-policy/bulletin.html

The sooner you get married and file, the better. Don't let your lady wait. ;)
