do you want to be married first? Or married once you get to the USA? Is speed to visa or cost important at all?

You do not need a lawyer if you have a simple case, have the time and understanding for the forms, no criminal records, multiple divorces (especially to foreigners), or previous immigration issues etc...

i will marry her once she gets to the states. we have been seeing each other for two years now and me traveling over there twice, but now is time to get married, two years ago she tried to get a visa just to come and visit me but got denied because what we were told to put is she was coming over to visit me a friend: they denied her, after taking to a lawyer he said they denied her because of that. So two years later we are ready to get married and just got back from thailand we are ready to marry and now I'm here trying to figure out how to do it. I have the forms but not sure about the fiancé letter of intent. Does she print that in thailand and sign it and mail it to me. or fax. I'm not sure where to go on this site because i am new. I take it everything is mailed and not faxed. Im a newbie and lost sorry and thanks for the responds

Okay so any further questions you have you can post in your own thread in the K1 forum as you'll be following that path.

You will need the original letter of intent so it will have to be mailed.

The I-129F package will also have to be mailed to the USCIS.

Nothing is faxed in this process.
