So, we are all in it together. That's the best thing about this site. When looking at the processing processing times, one has to wonder what's the difference between TCS and all others? Why so many I-129Fs are pending at TCS?

It is frustrating to see CSC process petitions so quickly. I am happy for those who don't have to wait long for their approval. I wish TSC would speed things up. It should never take more than a few months to get approval on the I-129F, however it does. So we all wait patiently.

What puzzles me is how some of the tsc applications are processed alot faster than others . I seen one here the other day that was accepted on June 29 and approved July 31 of 2014 but why . I have seen some waiting since dec. Of last year . You would think it would be in order received not let's snatched one out of the hat type of deal .

Some are expedited. Some Phil's are still expedited for some reason. But it does seem like they're working again *crosses fingers* if they continue like this, they should easily be able to get processing back down to 5 months cuz for awhile it seemed like none were going through at all! Granted, I'm not saying 5 months is fast, but it's better anyway. They're slipping into February now. All I can hope is mine is approved by October-yeah...that'll be 6 months. I'd much rather it be sooner. I've lost hope on my Matt being here by my birthday. It's still possible, but I'm not holding my breath.

I also know that once he's here it's not the end of the journey, but at least we will be together. That's a dream come true. He's my prince & I just want us to be together. I'm going back to England on august 15th. I'm so excited! But I'm dreading the last day...that hurts so much...:(

I am the petitioner.

I think you mean TSC (Texas Service Center).

The truth is nobody knows why TSC petitions do not transfer to CSC to even the loads. You know how everyone says CSC is fast and TSC is slow? Well I have a theory. What if CSC is not fast, they are just going the "normal" turnaround speed. TSC is just being slow.

So many variables. Good luck on your Journey. When did you file?

By the way how is the weather in Kuwait?

Absolutely the last day sucks :( My fiance will be here on August 25th for 10 days - haven't seen him for 3 months so really excited to see him! This will also be his last visit over here as, hopefully, I'll have received an interview date by then so it looks like I'll be flying over there on my K1 towards the end of October!!

Hang on in there, your approval will come soon and then everything speeds up after that :)

My fiance and I are only a month into this waiting period between NOA1 and NOA2 and it puts the last 5 years of long distance to SHAME. I'm pretty sure this is the hardest thing we will ever have to do.

The only thing we can do is just wait it out. Getting angry some days is just required because it's all so frustrating - we have no timeline, he doesn't know when to leave his job, when do I get my new apartment? It isn't like these things are small adjustments - they are basically our entire lives being uprooted and changed.. all at the whim of when USCIS decides they want to adjudicate our petition.

I definitely feel the struggle of those who have had others apply after them and were approved before them. It's baffling. This entire process lands you knee-deep in government bureaucracy, whether you want it or not. The decisions of our Senate, House and the President can all reflect on normal citizens trying to live their lives (hence the recent DACA and immigration issues). Really, all we want is simple, to be with our loved ones and start to actually live the lives we are supposed to be living. I almost want to say 'that isn't too much to ask, is it?'.. but it is.

It's funny when my friends ask me how it is to be engaged and plan a wedding and I look at them like "what is a wedding?". One friend remarked to me today how she is going to remember me when she gets stressed over what color lights to hang near the head table and remember some people have it worse. This process is NOT for the faint of heart. The one thing that I think is important is finding ways to make this time special. I keep trying to remind myself of that when I get annoyed, impatient and frustrated with this.

You will probably never experience something like this in your life.. ever. This process turns love and family into a series of steps, applications and fees. It breaks down the very idea of being "in love" to something so mechanical and monotone. It's up to each of us in our relationships to make the time still special. You're engaged! For normal couples they will spend the next 8 months fighting over the color of the napkins at the table and if the centerpieces should have real or fake flowers. Couples like us break down every bit of our relationship into answers to questions that will determine if we can be together.

Sure, I would gladly take the former.. but think 20 years from now when you have kids (if you want them). Imagine the kind of story you will have - it's not the norm and it will be something that sticks with your children or those you tell. Our story was amazing and unique from the get-go and this process just adds another insane, amazing layer.

<puts hand up> Yep, been there, done that, have the battle scars to prove it! For my first wedding this is exactly how it was, arguing over napkins FFS!

This time it's reduced to a bare minimum, I have a dress, he has his tux. Once I have the visa we'll book a slot at the botannic gardens for the ceremony, then we're going to a british pub afterwards :) Think there'll be all of a dozen people there (compared to the 150 for my first wedding!) and I couldn't be happier :-D It's not about whether your flowers match your invites (yes, I'm ashamed to admit I actually worried about this!) - it's about the two of us. No more. No less. And I can't wait!

I like everything you said here & I concur. I'm living at home with my parents to save up money. I can't do anything right now. I know what I need to do for the next step, but can't gather it yet. I can't get an apartment until he has his visa in hand (or it's at least issued & on it's way). Everything is last minute. I need to buy a couch & a new mattress cuz mine is broken. I also plan on taking a loan from my 401k but need to wait til he has his visa cuz the money is just for us to help buy some stuff & supplement the lack of income while he is jobless. But I can't do that til I have an apartment cuz there's no room here. It's so annoying! There will be no wedding...he's already costing me a fortune. So, we plan on going to the courthouse & signing the document in front of my parents. The ceremony isn't important to us, being together for the rest of our lives is. And this wait is torture...all we want is to love our lives together. I want hugs & kisses, & someone to cook dinner for & play video games with. I'm sick of talking over a mic. Sure, we are stronger than any couple I've ever met. But it's difficult.

Still, we have an awesome love story. How many people can say that their significant other loves them so much they're willing to uproot their whole life just to live with them?

I am the petitioner.
