Hi Ms Darnell:

My wife already interviewed and got a conditional approved, need me submit the original I-864EZ with my signature. I already worked on it. Visa should be Ok after I submitted the missing documents.

I would like to ask. How I can extend my Visa Valid date. My wife wanna stay till Next Chinese new year since our baby is too small to travel. If the visa issue in Sep 1 2014, how I can extend the visa valid date till next Chinese new year ? Please advised. Thank you so much.

You mean she was approved and received her Visa. But she isn't ready to immigrate within the 6 month window so you want to extend the expiry on Visa entry date?

That is something only the embassy can do. The I-864ez has nothing to do with it. You would have to give the embassy a good reason why she can't come now and extend almost a year. That seems not plausible.

What do you mean the baby is too small to travel. Newborns travel everyday. They need a year or more? Why?

All you can do is contact the embassy and go and ask.

Me: Irish/ Swiss citizen, and now naturalised US citizen. Husband: USC; twin babies born Feb 08 in Ireland and a daughter in Feb 2010 in Arkansas who are all joint Irish/ USC. Did DCF (IR1) in 6 weeks via the Dublin, Ireland embassy and now living in Arkansas.

visa issue date not matter for this calendar math.

what does matter is the two dates printed in the visa.

no visa in hands, yet? cannot tell you anything.

so, usually in Guangzhou, the visa validity dates are tied to the medical exam date. but you won't know anything until the visa is in her hands.

expect 1 month delay now, from interview date, if you send in the I-864EZ via CITIC BANK COURIER this week, to the date she receives the visa packet.

Everything go well atm, My old case is assigned a interview date, (August 27). My new case has forward to the guangzhou embassy too. (Well, I paid twice DS-260 and I-864 FEE, try to tell NVC combine both cases, they said they cant.

My question is my wife do not have the I-864 original documents,(My singature page). Only have the copy. Is that matter? Hope it doesn't because it is too late even I wanna ship to her. I am worry the embassy needs her the original I-864.

yes, is huge problem, no original signature. but you'll fix that after interview date.

Finally Visa on Hand. :dancing: So I would like to ask, the visa expire date is Feb 2015. My medical exam took on AUG 18 2014.

We are planning to travel to USA in Jan 2014. Is that sounds OK?

Hmmm really. If this is trued you are 10 months late traveling.

I actually means I plan to travel on 2015 JAN. I just wonder if it is OK since US conisdering the valid date for medical exam also. Just wanna make sure.

You said the expiry date on Visa is Feb 2015 long as you are in US before that date you are fine. It's the expiration on the Visa.
