They ask for Status Information Letter if one DIDN'T register with the Selective Service. Since I did, as I was supposed to, I guess I don't have to send the copy of the registration?

It's not mentioned on the list of required documents (unless I missed it).

Can anyone confirm this? Do people usually send their Selective Service registration?

The application doesn't require you to send the proof of registration, it only asks for the date and selective service number. They would verify your registration with the number itself.

You would only submit something if you hadn't registered when you were supposed to. However, you can bring the registration with you on the day of the interview, but it's highly unlike that they will ask for it.
