What is the difference in the affidavit of support the I 134 an the I 864

The I-134 is used for non-immigrant visas, such as the K-1. It is not legally binding.

The I-864 is used later, after you are married and filing for adjustment of status(and for immigrant visas). It has more defined instructions and requirements. It is legally binding.

The I864 affidavit has to be used with co sponsor right

hi

no, not always, the co sponsor or joint sponsor is only needed if the sponsor/petitioner doesn't make enough, over the 125% of poverty guidelines, and doesn't have assets

You are asking your unrelated questions in someone's post about adjustment of status and the I-864. It is a bit confusing to have it mixed in here. You should ask future questions regarding the K-1 interview in the K-1 Process forum, or the India regional forum.

New Delhi is listed in your timeline. The instructions tell you what is needed. The petitioner and co-sponsor need the I-134 > http://photos.state.gov/libraries/india/521916/K1%20pkt%20info/K1%20pkt%204%20July.pdf

To clear up any confusion this may be adding for others reading this thread> For AOS, you need the I-864 from the USC petitioner/sponsor and if using a joint sponsor, they need their own separate I-864.
