Yes we got the potential interview waiver letter a few months back. We weren't expecting to hear anything until at least after August 2015. I just decided to randomly checked the status on USCIS website and there it was "Welcome Notice Was Mailed". Not sure what we are supposed to do next now. I know we have to do Form I-751 Removal of Conditions in two years. But is there anything we still have to do now? This is what the page reads:

On May 22, 2015, we registered your permanent resident status and mailed you a Welcome Notice for Receipt Number ---------. Please follow the instructions in the notice. Your new permanent resident card should arrive by July 21, 2015, after this registration or after you complete any ADIT processing referred to in the welcome notice, whichever is later. If you move, go to www.uscis.gov/addresschange to give us your new mailing address.

Sounds like there is something else we need to do here.

Congrats!

I checked my status 3 days ago and this is what it says but do i really have to wait until July 20 before i can have my greencard on hand? Thanks

Congrats!

Yes I wish luck to all of you August Filers. Hopefully this is a sign the other August Filers will be getting their Welcome Notices and Green Cards very soon too. I'm not sure if the State you live in effects the time it takes to be approved or not or maybe the Service Center. Our Service Center was Nebraska.

I'm hopeful this is a sign too. My husband is getting antsy about his taking so long.

WOOT! congrats. it won't take nearly that long. In fact, have you seen any updates yet? Should be soon, if not already.

Ugh I wish I'd received an interview waiver letter now :(

I'm really excited for all of you! Wishing you the best of luck!

You don't wish this. It blows. Severely. :( And I wonder, actually, if maybe you ARE a NPIW candidate. Have you received anything about an interview? Johan never did. it wasn't until we got our congresswoman involved that it was confirmed he was in the NPIW group. Our K2 got one back in Nov, so we were pretty sure he would likely be waived also.

Glad to see another August filer get their Green card approval and a day before mine too! Hopefully we can expect a barrage of green cards now from the rest of the filers.

This is the hope!! :dancing:

Never got an interview notice. I doubt that I'd be NPIW as I'm not a K1.. i thought it was strictly a K1 thing, however USCIS is known to be incredibly weird so idk.

Hello all. I am new to this and don't understand the lingo so please bare with me. I filed for my husband is August as well. We had our interview may 26. Everything seemed to go well we took our 5yr old and the officer spoke with his and Made small chat. She asked me my husband full name, place and date of birth. She asked my husband the same. The only other questions besides the yes/no Q&A were how did we meet. We explained and she took notes. I mistakenly gave her the wrong yr but corrected myself immediately. She asked my in-laws names and if we had any other proof we'd like to present. I showed pictures of from my pregnancy until now. Along with a couple of cards to each other. She told us she was going to look over our file and make sure she had everything she needed and that if she did we would be approved and receive an approval notice.. Should I be worried? I noticed everyone else was given a response on the spot. Thank you for your help.

The officer will probably have their supervisor review your file before approval! I wouldn't worry too much. Good luck to you :)

You will be fine. Not everyone gets approval on the spot. Like the previous poster said, your file will probably be given to a supervisor. Not all the interviewers has the authorization to give an approval. I have been waiting for a decision since April 16! My interviewer said she will recommend us to her supervisor for approval.
