Just received notice on 01/09/2018 that my 10 year green card is being produced.   Does anyone know how to just update a phone number on USCIS?

Hello august filers. My greencard is missing. :-( The carrier mistakingly put the envelope in a wrong mailbox. ??? I just wish USCIS sent it via Express Mail so it would need my signature when USPS delivered it, but it didn't happen that way. ???

Hello august filers. My greencard is missing. :-( The carrier mistakingly put the envelope in a wrong mailbox. ??? I just wish USCIS sent it via Express Mail so it would need my signature when USPS delivered it, but it didn't happen that way. ???

I hope you find it, how awful!!! I hope the person who got it send it to you or give it back to USPS. I got mine yesterday, HOWEVER, they changed my surname to my husband's. I do intend to change my name (maybe when we lift conditions) but I wanted to keep my maiden name (this is work related). I probably have to change it since all my documents are still in my maiden name.

Yes, I hope we'll find mine. I really am hoping that whoever received it will do the right thing and return it. It is awful that for the last part of this visa journey, I encountered this, which I never expect.

So I got my greencard last Saturday- NAME is INCORRECT, not my fault. So I called today, have to file I-90 and submit evidence that it is not my fault. I just wanna be done, and I was planning to travel soon so Im not very pleased. USCIS told me it takes 3 months or so but they will expedite it. I asked how long- the answer is it will be a bit faster.... Really now, I want to hear just a week.

You can go into your local uscis office and get the I-551 stamp in your passport which is another form of the Green Card. Schedule an infopass for it ASAP.
