Congrats! YEs, if you are married for 2 years, if approved, you receive an automatic 10yr-GC. So you dont need to d the removal of conditions. Hope they send the GC soon!

Hopefully your case status online would change soonest. :-) Sometimes they update cases status online late. Who knows your card may already be in production but they just have not updated your case status online yet. :-)

I sent my AOS package in Aug 2014 too! I also got my EAD in Sep 2014 but still waiting for the interview notice....kinda impatient now

Is there any Aug 2014 AOS filers has received the interview notice?

You may receive a notice soon indicating a potential interview waiver and stating your green card may be delayed 6 months approximately. I got this a few weeks ago and so did many others on here. You did AOS from a K-1 correct?

I did post it earlier but I would gladly repeat it in more detail:

So we took an oath, the first thing the IO asked was our ID's (state ID/driver's license). you probably can also present your passport.

The questions were:

(1) When did you start dating, how did you meet? (she made confirmed how long was the courtship, then when I said yes and when he moved because she was taking notes)

My husband told the IO the whole story from our first meeting, dating, moving together and finally getting married - IO just kept writing and listening to us (and smiling))

(2) Who are in your wedding?

We only have two friends so we explained that we opted for a simple wedding first and maybe do a church wedding in two years.

(3) She confirmed the info in the biographic information (g-325a form), name of father, mother, birthday and current work. She then asked for our birth certificates.

(4) She then asked me all the questions in I-485 (Are you a terrorist? member of communist party?) My husband almost laugh... I think it is part of the procedure to really confirmed the answers in this part of i-485)

(5) Do you have more evidence of marriage? (We only submitted joint lease and bank account). So we gave her pictures and insurance policy. She took some pictures and the copy of insurance policy.

she then told us that we are approved and that the card will be mailed and explained the procedure for removal of conditions. They try to make it short (as long as there are no red flags) and just do the interview for 10 mins. I was so surprised how fast and simple it was.

We brought a lot of things:

What the IO looked for were (as what I indicated above): IDs, birth certificates (most important), additional evidence of marriage like insurance and pictures. I am surprised she did not ask for the original marriage license.

Other stuff we brought: cards, bills, passports, EAD/AP if you applied for it, marriage license, recent pay stubs (highly recommended to bring these documents just in case your IO looks for them)

Don't forget to bring your appointment letter (the list of documents you should bring is in that letter too. )

Hi G&O7. No, we were together in the interview room. They said some IO just wants to interview the couple separately- depends on their style. So it does not really mean that they are a little bit suspicious of your relationship.

Hi corvusheart, I assume this question is for me. No, not form K1. I was on F-1 OPT status (I still am until I get my new card).
