5 months pending here still nothing not even a waiver

Hi, did you try to call and ask? I think you should since your application is pending for months now. Hope you will get an update soon. I know it is frustrating...

So I called yesterday and they said I have to go based on my local office processing times. Dallas shows Feb/ 2014 as current (I guess they are working the cases filed back then) as of 10/31/2014.

Methinks dallas folks have more waiting to do.

Done with interview today!!!

Pretty straight forward.

The IO was really nice to us. Here is the summary of what happened: (1) She asked for our state ID then asked us how we started dating and my husband told her our story until we get married (2) She verified the info in our applications - name, name of parents and birthdays and ask for our birth certificates. (3) she asked for additional evidence of our marriage- gave her my insurance indicating that he is my beneficiary and gave her pics, she chose the pics. (4) She said she approved us and explain the removal of condition.

I will still be a bit nervous until I have the GC on hand.

To all those who are waiting, I hope you get an update/progress soon! Thanks for all the support and help.

Yikes, that's quite a delay! Our office is about as bad. I think it's going to take roughly a year for this process to finalize.

Yikes, that's quite a delay! Our office is about as bad. I think it's going to take roughly a year for this process to finalize.

Thanks. Hope that they will expedite the process soon!!! The Memphis office seems not to be busy. Even the biometrics section, saw just 10 people there. And in the interview waiting area, probably 15-20 people (and well, some are family of 4, some with their lawyers) so less than 7 batches. At this point it probably defends on how busy your local USCIS is.

Im an August filer and received an interview waiver letter in December, my question is how do I know which is my local office. Does it go on geography? If so it would most likely be Philadelphia and if that's the case how can i find out about their processing times? I don't even know when I am allowed to put in for a service request. Any advice would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance!

For family based AOS you can, supposedly, put a service request in after 5 months if the case is at National Benefits Center or Nebraska Service Center.. Not sure about K1, as I'm not under that. If you're adjusting as a spouse of a us citizen the case is sent to your local office for processing (based on Geography).

Thanks! I am adjusting status from a K1 after getting married . I just don't know if I am with Nebraska although my number starts with MSC, although I might be sent to a field office, local to me which would either be Pittsburgh, only 2 hours away from us or Philadelphia 5 hours away. According to the statistics you gave me then Pittsburgh are working on June filers and Philly May filers. I guess it's just a waiting game, but I did read somewhere that if you get an interview waiver letter, it's around 6 months from when your bio-metric appointment was, which would make it Feb for me. So frustrating getting a letter as if you get an interview it seems to be so much quicker. Ah well just another waiting game,, we all should be use to that now!

Pittsburgh which is closer to me is working on June filers but I'm not sure who I am with any more. I was with Nebraska and not sure how to find out where I am now. Any ideas for me to find out?
