So, my interview is right around the corner, and I'm confused on what to bring as proof of bona fide relationship

With my original packet I sent the following evidence:

- marriage certificate

- 2 sworn affidavits by friends/family

- pictures

- 3 months worth of joint account statements (not it is up to 8 months)

- public service bill with both our names

- copy of dental, health and prescription insurance with both our names

- car insurance with both our names

- Renter's insurance with both our names

- power of attorney

- Rental Agreement with both our names

So my question is: Should I take all the originals to the interview? And what about the affidavits that the originals were already sent?

12/05/2013 - Arrived on J1 Status

03/28/2014 - Married <3

08/08/2014 - Sent i-130, i-485, i-131, i-765 to Chicago Lockbox (day 00)

08/11/2014 - USCIS received package. (day 03)

Take all the originals, affidavits, bills etc. Take your lease if you have one or something that explains your living arrangement, tax return if you filed. Edited by LAstategal

If you sent the originals that's fine. Did you make a copy after it was notarized? I'd suggest taking that, just in case, no need to have them redo it.Who knows what they do with some of our files anyways.

It doesn't say "card prodcution" like the last one, it just says my welcome notice was mailed. Does the card come with the welcome notice or is that coming first and then the card follows? :wacko:

The welcome notice will come in a form of a letter. Within the same week you will get your Green Card and the website will say your card has been mailed and once USPS picks up your card from USCIS station...the website will start showing the tracking number.

Our status says "ready to be scheduled for interview"....but no notice letter yet.
