Most people get the combination card- it is primarily EAD and it also serves as AP (it is just a line in the card that says "serves as I-512 Advance Parole"

Just received notice on 01/09/2018 that my 10 year green card is being produced.   Does anyone know how to just update a phone number on USCIS?

One question

What documents do i need to take with me for social security number application?

I will be applying with my married name so will they need my marriage certificate?

Do they keep the originals with themselves or just see it?

Thank you in advance guys!!!!

When I went into my local office to query what I would need, the lady told me birth certificate, marriage certificate, passport and my EAD (when I have it).

She also advised me that if I had been married before, that she would need to see my marriage certificate, and divorce certificate for that previous marriage, to show a complete transition of any names I've used.

I don't know if that is required at all offices, but it's something to bear in mind... :)

Finally the USCIS is paying attention to August Filers. :wow: And tomorrow is Friday- don't forget to check your case status! :goofy: There should be more movements-hopefully :rolleyes: . (crossing my fingers here). I am praying that there will be no delays (interview waivers, etc.).

So finally at 88 days, my husband got approved!! I received the emails for EAD and the AP but didn't get any texts so that was odd! But were so happy he's approved, I'm even more happy than he is that this step is finally out if the way! :)

I hope for a speedy approval for those waiting!
