For those who are desperately waiting for text/email notification...

I got my EAD in hand and it came with AOS interview schedule notice.

I have neither received text/email notification regarding my status update (absolutely none). I got the tracking number from uscis case status website (since I check it religiously).

So don't be discouraged if your phone isn't going off...just keep checking the website for your latest status update.

News about interview getting canceled is devastating...ugh. Hope uscis doesn't flip sides on me at the last minute. Interview set for mid-Dec.

I think I'm getting enough texts/emails for the both of us! lol That's interesting that the information came together. I didn't realize it did that.

Checked case status today and my EAD was mailed yesterday and the tracking number was there two (USPS 2 -day priority). I am tracking it and it is in Nashville and out for delivery so I should get it today. Many people are getting their EADs this wee-Yay!

I haven't received any emails or texts yet, but when I check the USCIS case status webpage it updated to "EAD & AP approved and in production on November 14th." I'm going to call USCIS today to see if they have any records of a UPS tracking number.

Did you get a testing and interview notice for I485. Did the i130 move to a different status?

The only thing that has changed is my i765.

Got it. The official I485 interview notice (location, date and time included) came along with my wife's combo card.

The instruction outlines all req docs to bring to the interview (pretty much everything I included in I485 app).

Also, now that her combo card has her official marriage name we can request for another ssn to reflect the change.

The letter also states that her AP is good for one yr...so I'm assuming I have received everything that's expected from 3 apps (aos, ap, ead).

We'll start prepping for the interview...now I should really try to remember what she wore and what we ate on our first date in case the IO decides to have fun with our interview.

Yup, happiness! I always commit spelling errors whenever I am excited. I dot get emails (I thought I signed up for it) and emails. If I have not checked my status online (which I always do anyways), I would have not known that it is on its way. Happy for you guys!

Lol I think we're misunderstanding each other. I was asking about the status like "Acceptance" "Card Production" for interview scheduling did it show status "Testing and Interview"? I get that the interview is scheduled.

Maybe they have designated you as the LA point of contact.

Yea the package came in a priority envelope and enclosed was her combo card (similar to CA drivers license) and a separate envelope which included our interview info (similar to NOA letter type).

According to others who have interviewed, I just need to bring every copy I made for aos app. Consider bringing your friend/translator but I don't think this type of assistance is needed in your case. I'll bring a friend just in case my wife gets so nervous that she forgets to speak English.

hi.. we got the same and exact letter with the same date on the letter and i got it today.. its justt like prolonging the agony of waiting and not exactly a waiver for interview..

yeah - well at least I know you're on the same boat, so we can keep each other up to date about the progress!

Haha, I remember when I opened the envelope (was SUPER freaked out because I had received NO prior texts or emails to receiving it yesterday) and I read the first two lines about potential visa waiver and was so relieved that I didn't read the rest of the letter. Then 30 minutes later, when I finally read the whole thing, I was just like #######.

We got one of these in the mail today as well, also dated November 12th. Here's the perplexing part though: it's for our K2!!! Nothing for my husband. This just gets loopier as the days pass.

I'm glad it is 6 now or else I would call USCIS and ask them why?!? LOL. Hopefully somebody in USCIS will realize it and do the processing according to priority dates.

I have seen a lot this cases when I am browsing the forums. Another 6 months wait is just too much. I hope that this is not the case...

Yeah it is quite frustrating. Thankfully I have my EAD and my AP so I can at least work right now and leave the country. I'm not too stressed about the AOS as long as I get it sometime before I take our honeymoon next year...

oh my bad. The new site doesn't show the circles which indicates our case status. Instead it just says "Interview is scheduled"

Yesterday I got a mail with my interview scheduled. And today I got an email saying that the interview was cancelled.

WHY DO THEY DO THIS????

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRGGGGG!

Sorry! Same thing happened to me but new date came quickly and ended up being a time change rather than a day change Don't stress too much just start gathering your stuff...and honestly time didnt make a difference I did not get in until well after 12 for and 11am appointment.
