Just received notice on 01/09/2018 that my 10 year green card is being produced.   Does anyone know how to just update a phone number on USCIS?

We received our interview date for Nov yesterday.. also received about 20 texts on the status being updated for the work permit / travel card. it kept going from initial review to issued back to initial review

-Jan 24th, 2014 sent in I-129F

-Jan 31ist, 2014 received NOA1 via text/email. Arrived at CSC

-Feb 4th, 2014 received Alien registration number.

-Feb 24th, 2014 received NOA2

-Mar 12, 2014 Arrived at Embassy

-Mar 20, 2014 Packet 3 sent to Embassy

-Mar 28, 2014 Received packet 3 instructions in mail

-Mar 25, 2014 Interview date set

My I485 moved to "Testing and Interview" today, but no movement on the EAD or AP..... still on "Initial Review". Based on others' experience, does movement on one form generally affect the others?

I REALLY WANT MY EAD. :lol::lol:

Rachel, what was the RFE for? I missed that!

We got an RFE for evidence of my cosponsor's current income. It was a silly one, because I had already included the last three years' tax returns, last three years' W2s and a letter from his current employer. They wanted pay stubs and an updated letter.... so I sent that and hopefully this means it was sufficient!

Immigration Journey

 

  • On L-1B visa for about 1.5 years before getting my F1 visa.
  • F1 (2 years) to OPT (6 months) to H-1B (8 years; Had an approved I-140 and extended my H-1B beyond 6 years) to Conditional GC (3 years 3 months) to Permanent GC.
  • I had earned 40 credits in Social Security, submitted I-864W when filing for I-130.
  • Husband and I are both Indians by birth. Husband became a naturalized USC in July 2014 and I applied for AOS in August 2014.

in my case they just update once its deliver...! i didn get any tracking no# too...

Once USPS gets their hands on your card the the next update will contain your tracking number! Congrats!
