August 2014 AOS filers

I also wondered if it's done at random. Some applicants seem have received their cards upon completion of biometrics and others have seemed to be very excited to get their interview notices.

i got my interview date before EAD approval...so i was just little worried..!

Haven't seen any movement on the EAD/AP card yet, although we had biometrics on the 9/10. The interview letter was apparently sent out, which we have not received yet.

I haven't heard anything since my Biometrics appt in the first week of September - And no update or change of status online either.

How do you know that you an interview scheduled? Did you call to inquire or did it inform you of this online?

I'm still well within processing times, but I'm anxious that an RFE or interview letter could have been mailed to me, and I haven't received it - I had issues with mail when I first moved here, and although they seem to be resolved, I'm a bit on edge. Obviously anything they may send me would be of very high importance...

Okay guys,

I have crazy news!

First thing, my EAD changed to card production today and AP changed to post decision activity.

Second thing, my AOS application got expedited! I have my interview on October 14th, 2014! Crazyyy, I know.

The reason my case is expedited is because my husband is a active duty military and he is currently deployed. The USCIS website says deployed members can request expedite which will be evaluated case by case. We requested the expedite through the local congressman's office.

I am excited because Dallas is so backlogged right now that an October interview is a miracle.

If any of you are military families, you can call and try to expedite your case. The least they can say is no.

I am now on a H1B visa. My husband got his US citizenship in July '14. I applied for my AOS in August.

08/26/2014 I485, I130, I131, 1765 fedexed to Chicago Lockbox

08/29/2014 Package received at Chicago Lockbox

09/05/2014 Received Case Numbers for all 4 applications in Email and Text

09/08/2014 Received all 4 NOAs in Mail

09/12/2014 Received notice for Biometrics appointment on 09/26/2014

09/26/2014 Biometrics done

10/02/2014 Case status for I485 changed to "Testing and Interview"

I'm still well within processing times, but I'm anxious that an RFE or interview letter could have been mailed to me, and I haven't received it - I had issues with mail when I first moved here, and although they seem to be resolved, I'm a bit on edge. Obviously anything they may send me would be of very high importance...

I checked on the website for my AoS application #.. the other two still just show the first correspondence

I'm a bit worried as well since we did move just after we submitted and we did update the site, but now we'll just wait for the 30 days to pass

It's such a stressful and long winded process. I'm glad I'm here with my husband, that is a blessing after being apart through the K1 part of the process. I'm just eager to work, and get my driving license, and other things in place etc.

I check the website daily - My AOS is still in 'Acceptance' and my EAD and AP are both in 'Initial review' There's been no change since I first logged onto the website when I lodged the AOS application. I've read on VJ that applications sent to NEBRASKA are actually Missouri, as my numbers all start with MSC, but I've also read conflicting responses that say different.

Like I said, I'm well within the time frames, I just want to be on top of things and I don't want to miss something!

I'm assuming that you changed your address through the correct channels with the USCIS Thane? If you did, then all should be in order, but I can understand your concern too. Maybe if you can locate a contact email or number, you could call to make sure that they have all of your updated details?

Well, mine was forwarded to the National benefits center (MSC) from Chicago, but was sent to Nebraska after that. I hear Nebraska is supposed to be helping with the backlog. It seems we just have to sit tight and wait, cause most references say they're slow.

on/off/on email rescheduled interview for same day as cancelled interview Nov 4 2014. A month form now. at least this time it updated online before I the letter arrived, the cancelled interview came without any online updates, maybe it is for real this time..either way we will show up on the 4th, seeing this is the second scheduled interview for that day!! my EAD and I-130 are still stuck in initial interview Hope everyone else is moving along as well and this can all be over by xmas..til ROC of course

If you were to get an RFE it would show up on the USCIS website first before you would get mail. No movement on my husband's EAD or AOS either. EAD is still Initial Review and AOS is still in Acceptance. His biometrics was September 8th.

your NOA1 date is 15 days after mine. I got approved AP/EAD email on the 20th September, so yours could be any day now. I imagine it will happen before the middle of this month for many August filers.
