Received the NOA for EA approval today! :dancing:

I had the biometrics on 8/28 so it took 22 days to get approval. Much faster than I expected to be honest.

USCIS gods are being nice to me so far this time arounds. **crossesfingers**

I hope everyone else sees updates on their cases as well!

Just received notice on 01/09/2018 that my 10 year green card is being produced.   Does anyone know how to just update a phone number on USCIS?

Thank you! I have a job interview next Thursday so I was cutting it close!

Interviews are nerve racking as it is so this is one less thing to worry about. :D

Thank you! I have a job interview next Thursday so I was cutting it close!

My case still hasn't been touched since 8/7.

I wouldn't worry too much. My timeline is probably not typical since I am not adjusting through marriage unlike most people here. There is less stuff to check, so it might be progressing faster? I am sure you will see movement in your case next week or so.

Hello August Filers,

I am trying to calculate when to expect EAD approval. Our timeline is all over the place, so I thought maybe someone had some thoughts.

7/17 mailed AOS/EAD/AP

7/22 NOA for EAD & AOS no AP NOA, stated AOS would be transferred to NSC. Now USCIS shows received date at NSC of 8/4.

rejected AP because fee was not included?? Resubmitted with AOS NOA and received an NOA for AP of 8/19 on USCIS status page

8/29 biometrics complete

So when comparing to others timelines should I use the AP NOA date since the EAD/AP card is issued together or can I assume the EAD NOA date which puts us expecting it any day? We have not received any notices of interview scheduling. Any thoughts are appreciated.

The date you need to take into account is the biometrics date. From looking at other threads, EAD/AP approval usually happens within 4-6 weeks of biometrics appointment. So even if they take the maximum 6 weeks, you should get your card first or second week of October.

August 16th, 2014 my Package was sent (I-130, I-485, I-765)

August 19th, 2014 was delivered to the Chicago Lockbox and signed by D. Nesbit

August 25th, 2014 I received 3 emails and text messages @ 6:24 am and my checks were cashed

August 27th, 2014 I received NOA's/ Biometrics appointment for 09/09/2014

September 9th, 2014 Biometrics Done

November 5th, 2014 I-485 Testing and Interview (the new website says nov 4th)

November 6th, 2014 EAD Card Production

November 13th, 2014 EAD was mailed

November 14th, 2014 Received my EAD! ( Applied for my SSN 11/17/2014 & got my SSN on 11/22/2014)

December 17th, 2014 I was scheduled for my appointment for 01/21/14
