Biometrics done, office was very busy (Kendall FL) I got there at 10 for my 11 appt was number 46 in line got out about 11:40. Staff was very nice...now the real wait begins :clock:

Just received notice on 01/09/2018 that my 10 year green card is being produced.   Does anyone know how to just update a phone number on USCIS?

Update on my EAD:

Card/ Document Production

On September 11, 2014, we mailed the new card directly to the address we have on file. You should receive your new card within 30 days.

Can't wait to get it :goofy:

My i130 and i485 still haven't been touched..

I have entered USA as an F1 student in December 2010 and have maintained my status ever since. In August 2013 I met my husband (L) . We got engaged in March 2014 (L) And married in July.

7/9/14 - Got married (L)

8/4/14 - Mailed I-130, I-485 and I-765 to Chicago lockbox

8/5/14 - Package delivered and signed by John

8/7/14 - Texts and emails with NOAs for I-130, I-485 and I-765. ~ Now I have case numbers I can go online 10 times a day and check!!!

8/13/14 - NOAs for I-130, I-485 and I-765 received in the mail. I have an alien number now.

9/2/14 - Biometrics done

9/8/14 - EAD approved!!! (expedited by the local congressman)

9/12/14 - EAD in hand!

This will probably give you an idea how many times a day I check my case status :rofl: :

now when I track my i765 case status it shows a USPS tracking number, and it's 2-day priority mail!!! so I will get my EAD this Saturday!!

I got my biometrics appointment letter in the mail today!!!! :dancing::dancing: Its scheduled for the 25th in the Jackson ASC at 2pm, anyone been there? That's 2 hours away from me,, and I will not be attempting an early walk in. Hopefully things keep progressing at this rate. Its :clock:

So can you expedite your EAD for any reason? Or do you need to have a special job offer to expedite your EAD. I mean the lady who did my husbands biometrics said he would get his EAD in 2-3 weeks but that seems very unrealistic.

Finally received an email notification :-)

woohoo! :)

Johan and his son went to their appointment this morning. They had a 45 minute wait beyond the appointment time,but were finished in 5 min. No information at all about the timeline for the EAD, but they only do biometrics at the office he was sent to. It won't be where we interview. Also, he told me that the woman who helped them has strong Irish roots, and she was very friendly. :)

My application was mailed July 31st

Reached Chicago on Aug 1st

Got the NOA on Aug 10th (dated Aug 6th)

Biometrics Notice on Aug 18th for Aug 27th and I did a successful early walk in on Aug 20th.

Status changed to "testing and interview scheduling" on August 29th.

Now, I am waiting on the notice for an interview and it cannot come soon enough!

My husband is in the military and overseas and I have to wait for the green card to join him. :unsure:

Has anyone's changed to scheduling an interview yet??

Have you heard anything of how long the whole process is taking at Dallas?

From what I understand, it should be about 3 months across the board.. however the uscis website shows about 5 months for TX. Looks like your case is moving quickly though so you might stay within the 3 month mark.
