Hi there,

I had experience traveled with my 2 cats. Since my husband and I carried on the cats on the plane we did see experience their behavior. We did not sedate our cats since it was not high recommended at all. Cats you can carry on but not dogs especially the big ones which means you have to put your in cargo. My cats traveled about 22 hours and layover was about 7 hours and I am from Indonesia.

Know your enemy and know yourself and you can fight a hundred battles without disaster.Strategy without tactics is the slowest route to victory. Tactics without strategy is the noise before defeat

-I am the beneficiary and my post is not reflecting my petitioner's point of views-

Sometimes they were well behaved but most of times they were crying and I felt bad about that. I remember one of passengers in front of me whispering to someone next to her saying, " hmm, I heard cat was crying, did you hear that?" I was like oops, lol.

We could not let them out from their carriers. That's the airlines rules. The bad said was when we traveled with Asiana, the ground manager separated my husband and I even though our tickets at same row. He told us that's their policy regarding bring pets with their airline.

The good thing about Delta was they allowed us sit together and I can calm my cats. They were not used to new people. I know they had been traumatized by that experience and still now. They hate hearing noises and always hiding whenever the trash truck came every morning.

I sent my puppy over to america to my husband, that was almost a year ago and his totally fine. The company i sent him with picked him up at my house and put him on the plane and my husband picked him up in NYC a day and a half later. He had a lay over in hong kong which i was worried about but he made it safe and sound!

when my husband first got him he was a little quiet and a week or so later he did actually get a fever and was a little unwell but that could have been just him adjusting to a new environment, he is happy and healthy now and loves his american home

I brought my little boy Simba out with me (on a separate flight as I needed to move here first and find us an apartment). I won't lie he was very stressed in carrier but after less than an hour at apartment he seemed settled, he was needy for a couple days but then he was happy. So yes the plane will be a scary experience for ur babies but it's temporary and better than them having to get to know a new family

Hey there, I looked at jetpets but ended up using All Animal Transport ( im not sure if they do all Australia or not) i lived in brissy but the were so so much cheaper the jetpets as its a smaller company and dont have so many over head expenses. but they were fantastic! the lady picked up my puppy and sent him on his way and hubby had no problems picking up at JFK airport.

hope that helps
