What is the average time between medical and interview?

There a lot of old threads on this topic but I wanted to start a new one, because I'm trying to get some approximate dates for planning and housing etc...

I know it varies, so for the people who have been through this. How long after the Medical was your interview date?

Fiance just had his medical, but there was a bit of a slow down because he needed to get a vaccination before we sent it out (to avoid issues in the AOS stage) It got sent out to the embassy today so I'm thinking it should be 6 weeks - 2 months before he can get here.

Same thread idea just two days ago, so not so old. http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/507891-timeline-medical-date-appointment-letter-date-interview-date/

It's not working so well either. Maybe you guys can combine efforts and reel in the ones who will ask the same question next Mon., Wed. and Fri. here and in K1 threads. Just kidding...maybe not that often. I hope you get some participation. Many want to ask the question, but few come back to follow up with dates.

I was looking specifically for UK times, because I know they vary quite a lot by country. The threads I found were from early 2013 at the latest. If only timelines had an extra space for medical.

His thread from two days ago is UK forum and is supposed to be London times only. Unfortunately people wander in.....

Somebody posted on here a while back, because he had booked a holiday outside the US before his medical thinking he wouldn't have had his interview and green card issued by the date of his holiday. I PMd him to ask about the time between medical and interview and he told me it was 6 weeks.

I had my medical on the 25th last month, so am expecting/hoping for my interview sometime around the 5th of September. I shall let you know how this goes if it's going to be of any help to you.

My fiances medical was the same day. Let me know you get your appointment letter, I'm guessing his should come around the same time.

I was just looking into this too. Our medicals were received at the Embassy on 29th July so I'll update when I get an interview date through.

What day was your medical on the previous week just out of interest? Thursday? Friday?

Update as promised - I received my interview letter today - for next Thursday (14th) - eek! For anyone interested, my CEAC hasn't changed from receipt of our medicals on 29th July.

Congrats!

My status just got updated on the CEAC so I'm guessing 4-5 business days till the letter.

Congratulations! That seems like a nice short window between the interview letter and the date of interview. Very lucky!

I concur. My fiancee had her medical on July 24th. CEAC updated our case as "Ready" on July 25th. We submitted the forms on July 26th. She received her appointment letter today for an August 19th interview. That is only 11 days away. Overall, it will be only 25 days from when the case arrived in London til when she has her interview.

Congratulations both!

My letter arrived today, and my interview is on the 19th also, so hardly any time really between medical and interview dates.

My CEAC states "Ready", which is a relief as I'd been entering the wrong information into the drop down list for weeks and getting a "No Status" response. Pheeeew!
