Hi visajourney members. I am about to remove conditions on my greencard. I know my window will open in Auguat 16th. I have read on visajourney that people get a reminder letter like a month before and I never recieved anything. Should that be a concern? I am already panicing about the whole process.

2009 - Came to US on F1 visa
2009 - met my long time online friend and fell in love with her :)
12/2010 - Graduated
03/2011 - started working on OPT
03/2012 - STEM started
05/2012 - wife naturalized to USC

07/06/2012 - Got married
08/06/2012 -(day 0)- AOS package sent USCIS
08/08/2012 -(day 2)- AOS package delivered to Chicago USCIS lockbox
08/13/2012 -(day 7)- NOA for I-130, I-485, I-131, I-765 through email and text
08/18/2012 -(day 12)- Bio-metric appointment letter received - date 09/07/2012
08/20/2012 -(day 14)- Walk-in Bio-metric done(day 14)
08/24/2012 -(day 18)- Hard copies of NOAs for I-130, I-485,I-131 and I-765 received through mail
09/11/2012 -(day 36)- Got message for Interview date on 10/15/2012
09/13/2012 -(day 38)- Hard copy of NOA for Interview
10/09/2012 -(day 64)- EAD and AP approval notice
10/15/2012 -(day 70)- Interview
10/16/2012 -(day 71)- Approved
10/17/2012 -(day 72)- Combo card rcvd(EAD and AP)
10/19/2012 -(day 74)- production of new card ordered
10/20/2012 -(day 75)- Welcome mail
10/22/2012 -(day 77)- card mailed
10/24/2012 -(day 79)- GC in Hand :)

the reminder will go to the AOS address. So, if you moved then it went to your old address. if you didn't move , then it might got lost in the mail, don't worry about it

AOS

day 1 -- 04/11/2012-- package sent to Chicago

day 2 -- 04/12/2012-- package was received.

day 43-- 05/23/2012-- Notice for an interview is received for 06/26 @ 2pm

day 63-- 06/12/2012-- Received a Text & email for an update- Card production EAD/AP

day 77-- 06/26/2012-- interview / approved on the spot.

day 86-- 07/05/2012-- Received my GC in the mail.

ROC

day 1 -- 04/07/2014 -- ROC Package delivered to VSC

day 16 -- 04/23/2014 -- Walk-in Bio.

day 197 -- 10/20/2014-- Approval Letter received dated 10/16/2014

day 202 -- 10/25/2014-- GC received

The reminder letter should not an issue of concern! with or without it you can and still need to file your I-751! I don't think USCIS will ask if you received one or not! Good luck to you :)

I wouldn't worry about the letter either. My wife and stepson got their ROC reminder letters. The letters themselves were not dated, of little worth. Count 90 days back from the expiration date on your 2-year conditional Green Card. I figured that our window of filing opportunity will opene up on the 21st of August, we will send in the petition packet on the 25th or 26th of August. Don't want to send it in too early, USCIS will reject it, but want them to receive it early in the 90-day filing window.
