Just received "Potential Interview Waiver" letter?

Hey guys, well finally after worrying since May that my case wasnt updating today I finally got a letter and it was the potential interview waiver letter, should I be happy about this? I'm taking it as a good thing but wanted to check in to see if it is indeed a good thing, here's what my letter reads exactly:

U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) has identified your application as a potential Interview waiver case. This means that we may not need to interview you to complete your application. However, if we later determine that an interview is required, we will schedule an interview appointment and notifiy you.

As you know, your case is curently pending, If you have previously inquired with us about your case, this letter serves as the response to your inquiry.

Due to workload factors not related to your casem USCIS anticipates a delay in completing your case. Presently, we anticipate that delay to be approximately 6 months from the date fo this letter.. If you do not receive a decusion or other notice of action from USCIS by that date, please contact our National Customer Service Center (NCSC) at the number below.

Most K-1 AoS applicants receive such a letter; it's not a guarantee that you won't have an interview, since plenty of people have received the letter and then gone on to have one.

I'd probably translate it to something along the lines of "we're really rather busy here in Texas right now, for reasons having to do with oh god, why are there all these undocumented minors here, and since you have your EAD/AP, we're just going to move you to the 'deal with later' pile; if we haven't dealt with you in 6 months from this letter date, please remind us you exist, thanks."

Ha ha! Was that a Freudian slip or have USCIS now realised they are taking so long to approve petitions that the applicants may well have died of old age :-)

My last update was "On May 14th we mailed you a RFE" and they received my response to the RFE on June 13th, but I never got an update on my tracking number to say they received it, the only indication was that I got my EAD 2 weeks ago.

Got my letter in Feb, GC should be in hand tomorrow. For me getting a waiver was a good thing as i work abroad so once I got EAD/AP I was all good to go. Had I needed interview you can guarantee it would have been for when I was away.

I got a similar letter, and my fiancee's green card should have been here Wednesday without an interview, however this terrible pit of a post office in this city has lost it somehow.

We're going to have an unhappy talk tomorrow.

^{My wife got the letter but when we went to the Interview for her daughter the agent just asked to see our marriage certificate and asked for 4 documents. Never asked any questions of the stepdaughter, then she said you should get approval within two weeks after receiving documents and green card. Today my wife received her GC along with her daughter. Which was approx 2 weeks.}

My husband got his waiver letter in early April and got approved July 22. We just got his card on the 30th. His status never changed from acceptance until the day it was approved. You just need to be patient. You've come this far, it's almost over. Good luck!!!!

Stupid post office finally got it right and her green card was delivered yesterday, although the USPS site says Wednesday.
