I hope they give you an interview date very soon!!!

Thanks Marhaba... Looking forward to hearing of your imminent reunion with your husband. Hope all goes well with exiting all that craziness over there.

I wonder if they have you confused and in the F2A pile. Did you remind them your date is current?

You have to realize since you are in a whole nother category as the rest they deal with you differently. hang in there.

I am on a first priority employment based category which is current for all countries. Maybe you're right and it needs to go through some different interview processing track than family-based.

Any of you scheduled this past week had status changed to In Transit? After sending DHL packets all over the world every single working day in July, the only packets NVC sent in August were on Aug 5th as per DHL Tracker. Possible reasons I can think off:

a) NVC is pulling all staff from outgoing mailroom to other duties. (Most Probable)

b) NVC changed their shipper's reference format to throw us off. (Probable)

c) NVC switched to a different courier. (Least Probable)

Any ideas?

And then there was only me !!! What gives? I'm the only VJ'er left unscheduled. The number of cases that get shipped to Kuwait every month could be counted on one hand!

Emailed the embassy and they gave me a noncommittal response: "As soon as your case is ready to move forward, we will contact you immediately." Even NVC's Arthur could do better than that!

I'm really just fed up with all this religious fervor and absurd romantic view of a past long gone, ill-understood and falsely presented.... but I digress.

Hope the draw of luck will hold for you is it did for Marhaba.

It's 90 days before the green card expiration date, if I'm not mistaken.

Cupcake is correct, you can submit ROC as early as 90 days before the 2 year green card expires. Once you've submitted your paperwork you're basically in a grace period, so if the 2 year card expires but your ROC is pending in their system you're still ok.

ROC Timeline

04/06/2016 - Mailed I-751

04/07/2016 - NOA1

04/13/2016 - Check cashed

04/14/2016 - NOA1 hardcopy

05/04/2016 - Received biometric notice

05/16/2016 - Biometrics appointment

05/17/2017 - Approved

05/22/2017 - Card in Production

05/25/2017 - Card Mailed

05/30/2017 - Card Received

They give you a receipt, I believe, when you file the paperwork. You are supposed to keep that on you incase the GC expires before you're issued a new one.
