 Kind of wish I'd been there with mine as well, but he did great! We just went through the list of items for him to bring on interview day about 30 times during our Skype calls, haha. I'm sure you guys will do great too!! London's a piece of cake ^_^

As BOS_LHR said, London is easy peezy! Y'all will do great!

I'm quite calm about it, beyond excited that it's FINALLY happening!! LOL! I was teasing my hubby because he tends to forget things ;). I'm the "over organized/prepared" one.

haha, we're the same way!! I was so OCD about these documents, and my hubs said that despite all the secondary evidence he took with him to the interview (that I suggested), none of it was needed as our case was already so pack full of stuff I had originally submitted. He said the consulate officer interviewing him was flipping through the pictures I sent and took one out and smiled and showed it to him saying she liked it. I was very proud of him getting everything organized on his end too! I think this process makes all of us stronger as couples since we had to work as a team! ^_^

Haha def! It's always good just to be prepared just in case! You learn this very quickly going through USCIS and NVC.. Thankfully the interview is the scariest, but you make it through :D. That's so cute about the pictures. :P. London tends be usually quite nice. Never really see any issues with them. I'm so happy y'all finally get to be back together.. Woohoo! :D. Just two more weeks until your hubby's POE date!

We decided to save some money and book the flight for Sept 18. Sept 11 had the same price, but given my husband's origin airport, we thought he may incur issues with CBP on Sept 11. :(. 34 days to reunion!! Seems so far away!!! :(

Not all hope is lost for the Aussies.... Just called and our interview is scheduled for September 16 at 9am :D

She said it was scheduled yesterday which is strange because I rang at like 9.30pm and was told that it hadn't been scheduled. Thank god for cheap wifi in our hotel - I couldn't just wait for the email to come through!

We are so annoyed. My spouse had her interview on 8/7 and was approved. We are scheduled to leave on 8/17. Both tickets purchased and the officer at her interview said there would be plenty of time. Unfortunately, the CEAC site still says ready. I have emailed twice, called 3 times and finally got a person the third time who said they won't answer the phone. Told me to fax the information and gave me the fax number. I told him I've emailed twice already and have heard nothing. He said their system is broken and they are trying to fix it. He said a fax may be quicker. Now we are not sure what to do. Hope it arrives before the 17th, travel 3 1/2 hours to Taipei and see if they may talk to us in person, and/or change our plane reservation (which will cost us $500). I wish I knew what was going on and how long it will take to fix. :ranting::clock::crying:

that's why they say not to make any travel plans until you have the visa in your hands.

Hey gang! I made it to London safe and sound! It's nice typing here with my husband sitting next to me, looking over my shoulder :-)

Funny story, there was a woman sitting next to me on the plane who has a boyfriend in England (she's American). She said they were trying to figure out the US Immigration process. I nearly burst! I gave her my e-mail address and referred her to this site. If I can make this nightmare any clearer for anyone else, I'm happy to oblige!

I was supposed to be taking a break from this visa stuff, but as you can see, someone upstairs obviously had other plans for me!

Hello all,

So I finally got my interview letter from NVC for Montreal on September 17.

I keep reading that I have to register to courier prior to my interview; however, my letter mentioned nothing about this.

What should I do?

Will this info come in another letter from the Consulate?

Sorry if this was already asked before =)
