I have checked from my phone only, on skyscanner and rj.com. I want a direct flight only. The connecting r cheaper but somt want him connecting. I will check from the computer tonight. The airports r amm to jfk. Would prefer amm to ewr but i dont think it is possible.

Where are you flying from and where are are you flying to? :P Is it Amman Queen Alia (AMM) to JFK NY?

I can look to see if I can find any direct flights for good deals.. I've been constantly researching flight prices, etc.. :P Plus I can look while I'm looking for late deal holidays :D.

Hello guys, just came here to say that in 10 hours i'll be leaving to the USA

My POE will be Newark.

As soon as I can i'll tell my experience.

Hope who's waiting get good news soon and that everyone's interviews goes well.

Ty for all the support that VJers give.

YAY! Good luck on your journey! :D.

Thank you dwheels76,and i will definitely be just around the corner, when i checked ceac it says issued....i dont know why but i welled up it finally struck me...Im really coming home,it was a 9 years journey with the son who fought for me to be back home....I guess with 9 years of absence in his life and thru skype and FB i raised a son very well....KUDOS to all of you here in VJ it was a road much lighter to travel thinking I was not alone....(im very sentimental lol... )...again, a lot of thank you!

Aww, that's so sweet it almost made me cry! Good luck x

Awwww you going to make me cry. Okay ya'l

l here's my frame of mind. Tomorrow is root canal day. I am sitting up in bed watching yes "Sharknado" (don't just me....... ) and drinking wine.

And tomorrow 1 hr before i arrive I have to take a Valium they prescribed I never have taken but have heard alot. Oh boy this will be fun.So

let me apologize in advance for any weirdness I post or snarky (I don't know what wine, Valiums and nova cane does to ones psyche) hehe

I am sorry to hear about the route canal. No worries !! Mine was cake, and no valium. :)

That is so very nice of you. :). Thank you !!!!

Yes, the locations you got correct.

I checked last night and had my daufhter check, too, but she got the same results as I. Cheapest for right now is sept 11. That is like 28 days away :(. I think the 18th is the same price but even more days away.

Ekk! I found the 17th, but its like $3492 for a direct 12 hr 30 min flight.. The cheapest that day is a one way, for $1,195 for a 19hr 50 min flight :/ I'll keep looking :D. (17th of August!)

Loool yes!!! Crazy! It will be direct amd one way!! :D. Sometimes round trip is cheaper but not this time.

The cheapest i have found during searches is about $1,048. But when i flew round trip, i flew for like $1,000. :(. This trip should be half that, but it is not.

On Vietnam consulate interview instructions it says to separate originals from copies, do I need to make a copy of everything I submit at interview? Also then said to label and itemized all documents, what does itemize mean?

They're asking you to get well organized so you don't get flustered and waste their time during interview, or worse, such as giving away an original document by mistake.

Use whatever logic you're comfortable with and rehearse with someone asking you for random evidence and see how fast you can extricate it without messing things up. Itemize could mean making a list of all documents and their numbered location within your stack/multiple folders of documents.

Best of luck to you!

Today is the day!!!

Just doing one more load of laundry so we have clean sheets to sleep on when we get home. The cat (my husband is her eye candy) is so excited she refuses to stay off the dining room table)! In about 3 hours I'll be heading to the airport, tomorrow I will see my husband for the first time in 5 months and it still hasn't sunk in that this time we won't have to say good-bye!!

THANK YOU to everyone! You are all in my heart, and if it weren't for this nightmare, I would not have met such amazing and fascinating people! So in a way, I will miss this journey lol
