Package 3 is old terminology. If you have Package 4, then your embassy doesn't use Package 3 anymore. Rest easy.

Alright ya'll I have a silly question because my husband has me second guessing myself. He is asking if he needs to bring an ORIGINAL copy of MY birth certificate to his interview in Kingston? ...when i'm reading through the list of items the NVC sent in the email next to the code it says "petitioner birth certificate.....F" (meaning the NVC didnt request it).....he has a COPY i made of my birth certificate already. He's so nervous he is starting to confuse me, lol. :rofl:

I suggest bringing a copy of all documents that were submitted to NVC, if the birth certificate was one that was not submitted they may not have needed it but it would not hurt to bring it just to be safe. I think he is just trying to cover his bases so as not to delay his visa and I must say that with how things are going with DOS i don't blame him. I would take it to be on the safe side. You can never have too much supporting documents.

Ok thank you :goofy: ....he does have a photocopy of it already...I have been reading the wiki's, items required for interview, and everything else i can read so his folder for the embassy has been prepared for a little while now...he is just getting anxious.

I just bought a plane ticket to go to Moscow for my husband's interview and celebrate our 1 year aniversary. I arrive on the 9th, interview on the 11th and I hope the visa is issued in time to fly back together on the 21st.

I just realized I have to make my house ready for my husband to actually move in! I have to make space in the closet and drawers and relinquish a sink in the bathroom! Such good things to worry about!

Anyone have suggestions on a place in Moscow to celebrate an Aniversary?

That is so exciting!!! I have no idea how my husband and I will fit everything in our home. But I'm really glad I chose a vanity with 2 sinks. Can't share a sink with him any longer!! ;)

We just got our case complete yesterday - well, technically we got CC on the 31st, but I didn't find out until the 1st. Waiting for interview to be scheduled in Montreal. Pretty excited that we got through, especially since the NVC seems to just get slower and slower!

I sent boxes via DHL. 4 boxes of more than 20kg. It costs an arm (370 euros) but it was necessary!

He is a US citizen, lived in the UK, now moved back to the US. I am French, we met in 2010 in the UK and got married in March 2013 in France.

-2013-04-22: NOA1 (Case transferred on 12/04) -2014-02-07: NOA2 -2014-02-24: Case received at NVC (Case # received on 03/27) -2014-03-29: DS-261 completed -2014-03-31: AOS fee paid (shown as PAID on 04/02, package sent on 04/03) -2014-04-04: IV fee paid (shown as PAID on 04/08, package sent on 04/05) -2014-04-08: DS-260 completed online -2014-04-14: AOS & IV packages received at NVC (entered in the system on 04/17 and 04/18) -2014-05-05: AOS checklist (phone), joint-sponsor's proof of citizenship lost (other copy arrived at NVC on 05/08, NVC "received" the checklist response on 05/09)
