Interview rescheduled interview will be next tuesday....@cupcake I know Frankfurt got a spot open in September

Awesome!! :D Congratulations.. That's so soon!!

Interview on August 12,went smoothly, long waiting time but in the end its all worth it! APPROVED!!!!!! :luv: just waiting to get visa on hand then book flight to UT!Thanks to everyone whom i kept bugging about questions during my journey..this forum is full of informative and good people who are always ready to help....God Bless us all!

Congratulations :D. How exciting!!

Yayy just got the email that passport is ready for pickup!!

YAY :D!

We are so annoyed. My spouse had her interview on 8/7 and was approved. We are scheduled to leave on 8/17. Both tickets purchased and the officer at her interview said there would be plenty of time. Unfortunately, the CEAC site still says ready. I have emailed twice, called 3 times and finally got a person the third time who said they won't answer the phone. Told me to fax the information and gave me the fax number. I told him I've emailed twice already and have heard nothing. He said their system is broken and they are trying to fix it. He said a fax may be quicker. Now we are not sure what to do. Hope it arrives before the 17th, travel 3 1/2 hours to Taipei and see if they may talk to us in person, and/or change our plane reservation (which will cost us $500). I wish I knew what was going on and how long it will take to fix. :ranting::clock::crying:

Oh no! I hope you get the passport before the 17th!!! You two need to make those flights!! :D

I'm trying to get my interview rescheduiled also but the embassy have responded with this:

Please explain why you are unable to attend the interview as scheduled.

What reason did you give to get your date changed as you've been very lucky to get yours brought forward quite considerably.

Congrats by the way.

What reasons have others given for asking for their date to be brought forward? Will they refuse if the reason I give is not good enough?

Did you tell them you already completed your medical, and you were scheduled at a later date due to NVC, and are ready for interview and would like to move it up? Did you add the date you had your medical/ or that they received it?

Just got denied an earlier interview at the London embassy. : (

"Unfortunately, we are unable to offer an earlier appointment. You should attend as scheduled on September 23rd."

I explained to them I'm ready for the interview, have completed my medial and the results are now with them and still they said no. I have seen here that others have been very successful in bringing their interview dates forward. I thought it would be a simple request that they would grant if they had earlier appointments available, but I guess not. Is it related to the reason you give them as to whether they will change it for you? I see Eastyo11's date was brought forward almost an entire month at the same embassy only yesterday!

Anyone have any advice here or do I have no choice but to accept the initial date they have given?

Hi guys,

Congrats I getting to this stage! I am currently stuck in the second backlog at NVC, but I am trying to get things in order for my medical as I am going away soon.

I went to my doctor surgery in the UK today to get a copy of my vaccination record for the medical. The nurse told me that she could scribble down the vaccinations that I have had on a form, but normally they require an official form to be filled out. I cannot find this online anywhere. For those of you in the UK, what did you ask for to get the vaccination record that we are required to being to the medical? Is a note from the surgery accepted? Or do I have to request something more official?

Thanks for your help, and good luck to those with upcoming interviews!

bdrew was initially declined for an earlier interview date at London, but she and her husband kept on the embassy and eventually the date was moved up after their MP intervened on their behalf. Might check with her exactly what they did :) Best of luck!
