I shouldnt even bother calling NVC today..no one got an interview date.

Interviews are scheduled only twice a month, first on around 30th and next on around 9th.

Check the case complete to interview sheet on this thread.

But I am not sure what's going on this month. Why they did not schedule the second round?

9th is already done.No interview date yet .. :cry::crying:

But I am not sure what's going on this month. Why they did not schedule the second round?

The 2nd round phenomenon was just through the summer months. It started like June and July we have never had 2 rounds before. So don't expect this to be an every month occurrence. With NVC being so behind on things I see it slowing down back to how it was.

Like the Interview email. It use to be 1 week it was sent out. Then January 2013 they got better and it was within 24 hrs. Then by March and April it was instant. I remember calling March 2013 and while I was on phone waiting the email came I didn't know. The lady said "man we just sent this like 10 minutes ago". Now they are back to 5 to 7 days again. There email system is overloaded no wonder every country isn't EP. They can't deal with it.

Just hang on it will be end of month soon enough for October dates.

I saw spread sheet and for interviews and only indian cousulate from delhi didn't sedule interview .Everyone is waiting from 31 july CC's...

The NVC operator informed me that the SEP interv scheduling has not been closed/completed yet.

Let's hope we will get it this week.

Can you wear jeans to the interview? Or does my wife have to wear something formal?

There's no dress code. Well clothes are required. But no formal. Whatever she is comfortable in should be what she should wear.

I always laugh when people say dress as American as possible and not in your countries attire to get approved. Like whatttt???

You should probably dress a little nicer though...you wouldn't go to a job interview in jeans, why go to one for your visa like that?

I have emailed them to review and reconsideration. Let's see what they have to say.

Meanwhile, I already have managed my joint sponsor. Do you know if I(my wife) submit the new joint sponsor, how soon we can get the visa? Please note they didn't keep the passport.

Strange they didn't keep the passport =\ All I can offer is my anecdotal experience, hopefully it's normal for this type of situation. I stepped in to be a joint sponsor for my friend and the visa was issued the day after my documents were received at the embassy. Assuming the passport is submitted at the same time as the AOS documents I'd hope there wouldn't be an additional delay.

Thank you so much, his wife will be our Co sponsor since she makes enough on her own and can show three years of tax returns because her husband does not have three years of tax returns but her husband will now file I 864 A. thanks once again
