Just called NVC , interview scheduling for second round has not been done yet.

Did they say when its gonna be done?? i called too..no interview date..will the interview be for month of september? I really hope so ??

My in-laws' interview was on 08/06 at Mumbai Consulate in India. Their visa was rejected and officer asked them to drop off a proof of residency for Year 2006 and 2007. I can not seem to understand why? Anyways they were specifically asked to send a sworn affidavit from a neighbor to verify their residency. My in-laws dropped off the proof with the passport at the consulate's designated spot on Friday. Looks like consulate have the passport as their status was updated to "administrative processing". Is this a good sign? I didn't check the status before so I am not sure what it was before.

dwheels and vj friends - I have a question regarding interview. If you need to have something corrected, like in my case a typo on the current address, at what time during the interview should I bring this up?

There's usually 2 rounds of scheduling, so far they've only done 1 round. Hopefully round 2 starts on Tuesday!!!

Thanks Bdrew612. I saw someone whose case was completed on July 30 received interview date on August 4th. Our case was completed on July 31st and we were hoping to be in first round.

I see that on the spreadsheet, and someone else said they got their date scheduled on the 2nd (which was a Saturday). I'm wondering if they were actually scheduled during the prior week when the rest of round 1 was done and are reporting the date they received the interview letter?

ANYHOO, hopefully you hear some news this week!!!!

Edit: I do wonder if it's an Embassy that isn't that busy, they may get scheduled right away as opposed to other Embassies?

Just an update

The waybill for my daughter is ready .

The waybill for hubby is not ???????

Every time I try to log in for him on CSC

Its saying invalid. So I called the automated

Line it has no update or waybill on his info.

Confused any ideas suggestions.

Just stressing because tickets are high and school starts soon.

We are coming up on our interview and getting our documents together. How are people presenting their documents in the interview? We were just going to put the required important docs loose in a manilla folder.

Any thoughts.

I guess it depends on how much documentation you have. I got a big expandable folder, but realize I don't have much documentation so it seems pretty empty now. I considering doing what you're doing as well. Just dump them all in the manila folder. Seems from the threads that they're not asking for a lot of pictures, telephone bills. chat logs and all that.
