Marhaba, I ran into this last year when I paid for tickets for my spouse and her sister to come for a 5-week visit. You list your city as Chicago. Does the airline you are using have a ticket office in Chicago? My spouse and sister came on Korean Airlines, and before they flew, I went to the ticket office in New York City and presented my credit card there - they accepted it with no issues and the two women flew from Australia with no problems.

This might be an alternative.

Sukie in NY

I called RJ today and the rep said if using a cc that has a different name from the passenger, use the Paypal option and there are no worries. :)

Thank you guys for your replies. ;)

So, I use Whatsapp to chat with my husband and viber to call him regularly (atleast twice or more in a day). I see an option to print message history from viber but not call history ...does anyone know how I can get a call history from viber and a chat history from whatsapp..? Thanks

I can give you the instructions for android... I'd guess iOS instructions are similar. Open the app, click and hold on the contact you're interested in. The last option in the popup should be "Email conversation". WhatsApp will email you the log

Embassy email me back this last Thursday :

"We still have several cases affected by the technical problems with our visa system. This issue is worldwide and is not specific to any location or visa category. We apologize to applicants who are experiencing delays and unable to obtain visa at this time. We are working urgently to correct the problem and expect our system to be fully operational again soon."

It's been 18 days now...I saw most people got visa in 2-3 days, this unexpected waiting are killing me, can't believe another long waiting after interview approved, how can they do this to me... (Oh yes they can! )

I have my interview date scheduled for 23rd September and I'm hoping to get it brought forward as much as possible so will be contacting the embassy to request an earlier date.

I have been waiting for my file to reach the embassy and my status to show 'READY' on the CEAC site before I contact them but it is still showing 'IN TRANSIT' and has been for some time. My Interview notification letter was dated 1st August. The file should be there by now right? Should I wait until the status shows 'READY' or just contact them now? I feel with each day that passes I'm losing opportunites to get an earlier date.

I have also had my medical last week and expect the results to reach the embassy any day now.

I suggest you call the embassy and find out if your file is there already. My Visa is in my hand and I am leaving today and yet in CEAC still says in the process of finalizing. Has not change since my interview. I don't think they update so fast. Good luck!
