woah 3 layovers?

the goal was to have POE in Minneapolis. this airport is smaller than O'Hare in Chicago or JFK in NY.

i don't live in the capital city so it causes complications too.

i need to get from my city to Warsaw, then i fly to Frankfurt, then to Minneapolis.

Marhaba, I ran into this last year when I paid for tickets for my spouse and her sister to come for a 5-week visit. You list your city as Chicago. Does the airline you are using have a ticket office in Chicago? My spouse and sister came on Korean Airlines, and before they flew, I went to the ticket office in New York City and presented my credit card there - they accepted it with no issues and the two women flew from Australia with no problems.

This might be an alternative.

Sukie in NY

Hi Sukie!

Thank you ! This sounds like a great idea! I will call them today.

I hope the prices are good. Usually, their direct site is more expensive than the SKYSCANNER app prices.

I am in NJ. I got confused wen you said my coty says Chicago. That is where I had to file the I-130. :). The closest Royal Jordanian office is on Lexinton Ave. Hopefully, all will go well. :). We are still waiting on the visa to be received before purchasing the ticket until.

I will let you know how all goes, once he goes to get on the plane or if the airline tells me something crazy. Otherwise, just the update of his arrival. :D

I bought my wife's airline ticket with my CC from here in USA. But then sent an email to the local office of the airline in Hyderabad, India to make sure there will not be any problem. They said, as long as the ticket has been issued to her name, there would be no problem. There wasn't.

Hi bkghosh!

This sounds like an additional option! Thank you!

I will ask the airlijne if i should do this as well or maybe i will just do it.

MISSION ACCOMPLISHED-

Tonite I can rest a little easier- although passing some of these milestones have also been satisfying...

Our Passport is "ready for pickup"

so Tomorrow (Sunday) - we rest- early start Monday checking out, picking up Visa and bus ride back to SPS. One more night in Honduras- we will go back to the same hotel we were at and spend the day at the pool-- late flight Tuesday night and arrive Wed AM.

It is all kind of surreal and a little disappointing because we will be shy of one family member but- that will not be anywhere near as difficult to solve.

I must admit- I am celebrating -- hard to stop smiling...

what a journey..

YAY!!! CONGRATULATIONS!!!

Safe travel wishes to you!!! :)

Hey guys, my wifes interview is on wed.

I checked the CEAC site and they touched the case on the 5th of this month.. What do you guys think lol.. Have this been happening to anybody else

GOOD LUCK ON THE INTERVIEW!!!!

I cannot answer your question bc I may have checked the date on our case maybe twice. Knowing when they looked at my case just did not interest me. I wanted results, not to know when spying eyes were bored. Lol.

It did not take away our nerves. We know HE has it all planned but will it be what we hope? That is where the nervousness came in.)

Not really sure. Most likely depends on what exactly is going on in the country and specifically, near the embassy itself. I thought for sure Jerusalem Embassy would be closed, but, luckily, it was not. I do not know if it closed for Ramadan though.

Hey guys,

We are new to this thread. We have two IR5 cases. Both were completed on a July 31st. Received confirmation email on August. We are doing EP and were kind of stuck at NVC due to a small error on I864 form.

We are waiting for an interview date for Montreal Embassy. Does anyone know if they are still scheduling interviews for Canadians for September month?
