I followed the dhl tracking directions on the posting of the first page of this thread, and was not able to get any info.

We are still waiting for Australia.

It's been a week since our interview date was set. Oy oy!!

Have you called to ask if its been sent out.? Remember packages get sent all the time when you see one doesn't mean yours is in that bundle. You shouldn't start tracking until you know they sent. Usually Mondays and Fridays are the send out dates. It's very normal for case-files to go out 1 to 2 weeks after assignment.

Got the text! VISA APPROVED!!! I know his dad was watching over him this morning. Cue the exit music!

When I saw CEAC update to Issued, I screamed at my desk again - my co-workers are so used to it they didn't even budge lol

I cannot 'grab' your comment and reply off of it bc y'all blew up my phone between yesterday and today. But I was very happy to read all the good news!!!

Visa issued.. I can't say I'm surprised, but even though the interviewer did say we were approved and he would try to issue it today, he did say as we were walking out 'as long as she had no criminal issues when she was in the US, she'll be fine'. Just enough to insert some doubt.. But I'm so glad it is done.

My husband says he cannot sleep. . He slept only two hours and will leave at 5, (3 hrs 20 mins). I think he is used to being on the East Coast timezone. Appt is at 8:15. I hope the checkpoint is not loaded w ppl.

My company retrenched me at the end of june due to budget reduction. and now 14 days from the interview they want to hire me in another unit for a 3 months contract. do you think i can accept and resign after the interview. my daughter and I will flight to New york on september 1st if the visa is approved.

If I was only sure about the result of the interview I would'nt accept this job.but you never know.

Is it one of those contracts that you have to work it and give them a million months notice and all that?

I know Haiti there is usally AP after interview. You have 6 months from medical to enter the US so you have time. Why not just work it you say 3 months you still have plenty time to enter US or you can arrive then go back and forth at will you know.
