Hi Dwheels,

We got his medical earlier to get it out of the way. We also never thought we'd be checklisted and set back by 6 weeks!

So I'm going to email the Syd consulate and explain situation and see if they suggest we get another medical.

I think we'd only have a problem with the current medical, if there was a delay from the interview to him receiving his visa and passport, which would then delay POE. Our 6 month cut off for his medical is September 12. That may be cutting it close if there were any delays. A very expensive mistake if we have to redo the medical.

Personally if I were you I would be emailing the embassy and requesting an earlier date ASAP. You could get tomorrow who knows. Do that you are ready I say give it a shot.

Lets us know how it goes.

What documents require for finger prints?

You'll need interview letter, DS-260 confirmation sheet, passport, VAC appt letter and 1 passport photo (though I'd recommend 2). They will stamp your DS-260 confirmation sheet

Hey everyone!

My husbands visa was Issued at the Sydney Consulate sometime around 3:00PM and it made it to Perth in Western Australia via Express Post by 8:00AM the following morning.

A TRUE MIRACLE!! :) He sent me a cute photo of himself holding up his visa; the proudest look on his face!

He is going to make his ORIGINAL flights with no cancellations or changes! What a blessing after this last scare with the computer glitch! He is on his way to me tomorrow night! :dancing:(L)(L)

Best wishes for everyone!

Wooooohoooo! Congrats! That is such a relief!

This is too cute!!! That's how I feel....except that I am secretly anxious and nervous for him.

LifeOnHold, I totally understand that your husband would like you to change again your flight, it will be soooo nice for you to fly together!!! (And no goodbye!)

I almost finished packing and boxes are sent. I'm readyyyy and so excited to see him soon! (I feel like there's a party in my head all day long!)

He is a US citizen, lived in the UK, now moved back to the US. I am French, we met in 2010 in the UK and got married in March 2013 in France.

Oooh, just barely! Never fear, you're coming right before autumn which is I think the best time of year in Minnesota!!

We finally got our interview! September 2nd.

Unfortunately, my husband did his medical in mid March and it is only good for 6 months to POE. We may be pushing our luck, especially with visa hold ups.

Did anyone else do a medical well before the case complete and interview?

Hi pcoz did u call for ur interview date i see that u and i have a same country Australia.
