My husband and I were talking about his interview tonight. I've been completely neurotic and he's been so relaxed since we filed the I-130 and now that the interview is days away I'M cool as a cucumber and he's a bundle of nerves now! We've prepped for this moment and we're ready! We all got this!! :-)

Lol. YAY!!!! I am sure everyone will do just splendidly. :). (I like that word.)

I was wondering, did anyone notice this or is it my imagination, when ppl report back their interview experiences, the CO's seem to be nicer in the beginning of the month? Maybe I am just making up stuff in my thoughts, to remain clam.

I just got off the line w my husband. We were going over possible questions. We did not get to finish bc it is quite late there now. (He has an evening/overnight job, so we can be awake around the save times. It helps so much.) :D

GOOD LUCK YOU TWO!!!!!! :D. Please let us know how it goes.

I am scared!! I will be all crazy Thursday. I thought to see the positive side, he should be out of Jerusalem by the time I am ready to leave for work. :). Then, I can either have a happy day or be an emotional wreck!! (Gotta think, HAPPY, HAPPY, HAPPY thoughts. Okay, need to play that 'HAPPY' song now.)

He's going to be just fine. You both will definitely be in my thoughts, he'll be safe and sound and in your arms soon :-)

I like your logic about the COs!!!

Thank you !!!!! ❤️

:D (my smile when I read the part about being in my arms soon.). Lol

The CO thing though, for some strange reason I am recalling ppl posting that their interviews were cake at the beginning part of the month but during the middle and end of the month, all grumpy, Doubting Thomas-type COs. Maybe it was just those times of the month when I actually read the posts. I dont think that info is correct at all.

Anyway, positivity is the path. :).

My status still at "READY" but I'm happy for all the "ISSUED" ppl  Congrats to visa in hand!! :goofy:

Hey everyone!

My husbands visa was Issued at the Sydney Consulate sometime around 3:00PM and it made it to Perth in Western Australia via Express Post by 8:00AM the following morning.

A TRUE MIRACLE!! :) He sent me a cute photo of himself holding up his visa; the proudest look on his face!

He is going to make his ORIGINAL flights with no cancellations or changes! What a blessing after this last scare with the computer glitch! He is on his way to me tomorrow night! :dancing:(L)(L)

Best wishes for everyone!

Wonderful! So happy for you!!!:dance:

Wooooohoooo! Congrats! That is such a relief!

LifeOnHold, I totally understand that your husband would like you to change again your flight, it will be soooo nice for you to fly together!!! (And no goodbye!)
I almost finished packing and boxes are sent. I'm readyyyy and so excited to see him soon! (I feel like there's a party in my head all day long!)

yay! Party all night! :star::star::star::star::star:

Dwheels76: u can add me to the spread sheat now! Finally after 5 monthes of waiting interview schudled sep Cairo embassey . :) .alhoudallah .

5 months!! Big Congrats to you!! :dancing:

We just got our case complete yesterday - well, technically we got CC on the 31st, but I didn't find out until the 1st. Waiting for interview to be scheduled in Montreal. Pretty excited that we got through, especially since the NVC seems to just get slower and slower!

Congrats for the CC!! :dance:NVC is getting terrible! Became 60 days waiting now...sigh.

I hope they are nice to everyone!! :)

It is just luck of the draw. We all have our 'off' days; the nicest CO may be a big meanie to someone. I hope they never let their mood affect their decisions for ppl's lives.

No one at the embassy or aramex would give her anyyyyyy information at all. She went to the embassy herself and when she got their they recognized her because they had the visa in hand about to give it to the Aramex courier. So they let her take it while she was there, what luck!

They told her to go pay a Immigrant Fee online $165. Do I do that now? They stapled the instructions to the Passport, we weren't sure if we are to remove them and pay it now, or leave it stapled..?

You've used up a whole month's worth of luck. Hunker down and don't answer the door till September.

I always cringe when something gets rushed or a step is bypassed. Double check every field in your visa foil. Now is the time to fix any errors with the embassy. Also don't get too curious with that brown envelope. The stapled reminder to the passport you can remove. Paying the $165 fee now will speed the plastic GC processing, but can wait till after POE if you must.
