That's great all went well. That's about standard everyone gets that 3 shot thing. Poor dear.

So when y\do you fly out to Russia? Sounds so wild going to Russia now with a;ll that wahala going on.

I am a little worried about that. Does everyone get the three shot thing? When i had read ppl were posting about getting shots, i told my husband to bring his immunization records w him, to his medical. Otherwise, we could incur more pumped up fees. After his med was over, he said he did not get any shots. Also, he said the dr did not even give him the "cough" test, plus his med packet was never sealed. It seems there are so many inconsistencies compared w other posted medicals. Should i worry or just let it ride, i mean visa was approved and all. Am i just being overly paranoid???

Called this morning Interveiw was sheduled yesterday. Set for October 21st.

Oh ok ours was 8/20 I should probably wait till next week, I hate calling NVC and I really don't wanna hear them tell no interview date yet ma'am... ugghhh thanks for the info

We received cc on Aug 16 and I just called nvc and they scheduled us for Oct 7th in Amman

Question about your SSN; did you request for it to be assigned on the DS-260?

I asked with DS-260, I went a few days after arriving to the SSN office and they never got the request. They entered all the info and was issued a week later, don't wait, just go to the office and get it done. I am waiting for the green card, nothing yet.

Worry about what you have a Visa. I'm confused.

I worry about EVERYTHING!!! Lol

What i meant was, i am thinking there may be an entrance issue during poe. Or bc the visa is issued and no probs on it, there should be no issue during poe?

EDIT: man, why is my pic not showing up?? I checked it and it is just a blank white block. Everytime I try to load a pic of my husband and me, the site says it is too big. So, i had to go w a pic of something else. Ugh... Well, i think there r greater worries to have. So, it's all good.

So I got CC on August 14th, and Interview was scheduled on August 29th for October 1st. How long will it take to get the confirmation e-mail for Interview?

Such mixed emotions right now. I'm so happy for you guys that had interviews scheduled today! Always a good thing that NVC is moving along....

... but it also makes me a little sick to my stomach that they started scheduling and we don't have CC yet. I really thought it would be this week but there has been almost no movement on CCs this entire week. Praying for next week.

I don't blame you... this week was terrible for those waiting for CC, compared to last week. To end with a long weekend is no joke either. Seriously, drop everything and go AWOL for the weekend away from home and VJ, even if it's just a day long road trip.

Congrats to all with interviews scheduled today!!! I hope mine will be scheduled soon. I tried to call to check today, but both times I called, the call dropped out after 20 minutes on hold. Weird! Would love to wake up to an email tomorrow with a date, but if not hopefully next week.

Just as a follow-up to the above thread. I read on this forum that the NVC was handing out interviews so I called them up. I was told by the representative that I was given an interview date today. Oct 9th in Montreal. Lucky.

Great news for both of us after the long wait. Just got mine as well.

I'm trying to test a theory, so could you please tell me when did your AOS fee changed from PAID to N/A?
