12/7/2017: additional evidence sent and delivered 

2/2/2018: Green card mailed! Status changed!

Congrats to all those with scheduled interviews. I called but no interview scheduled at the moment for me.

Quick question, how soon after scheduling is the interview email sent? Got my CC email today, 1 week after CC which is consistent with others.

Our interview email came overnight the day our interview was scheduled.

Just got off phone as well. No luck on interview! I wanted them to schedule so i could email embassy in turkey to move the date forward.

I really NEED september interview. october interview will cost me $2000+ :D

I just called NVC...and the interview has been scheduled for my kids in Ciudad Juarez for October 1st. :dancing::goofy:

Finally!!! I'll try to call once I receive the e-mail to see if I can move it to September.

Anyone knows if I can move the appointment before receiving the interview letter???

Hi,

I am new here.

I received my case complete email on July 29th and have been waiting for my interview at the Montreal consulate. When I call the NVC they told me that my case was actually completed on July 22nd but that I don't have an interview scheduled yet. I noticed on the Interview Date spreadsheet that others from Canada have their interviews scheduled even though their cases where completed after mine. It must be due to the type of immigrant visa I have applied for.

My wife has her EB-3 based green card since March 2014 and lives in the US. So I have been at the NVC since March. I applied for a following-to- join benefit so my visa type is EB-3 because I am a derivative beneficiary. I did not have to submit an Affidavit of Support as part of my paperwork.

Do you know if EB-3's are a lower priority for interviews than IR-1? Also are the questions drastically different at the interview? I am thinking I should bring an Affidavit of Support just in case the interviewer requested it.

Just as a follow-up to the above thread. I read on this forum that the NVC was handing out interviews so I called them up. I was told by the representative that I was given an interview date today. Oct 9th in Montreal. Lucky.

Okay alot of updating I pray everyone getting interviews is filling out the form so I can update the list later.

Usually I follow along all the goo\d news but been in training all 2 weeks and way behind.

Called NVC no interview yet :'( ... guess DR is a high volume embassy, cause I see people who CC way before us and no interview yet... ugghhh, more waiting,God knows how much longer :/

Question about your SSN; did you request for it to be assigned on the DS-260?

5/21/2016: Mailed I-751 packet to CSC

5/23/2016: NOA1

7/29/2016: Biometrics Appointment

11/22/2016: I-751 Approved!
