NOA2 6/6/14 but NVC has STILL not even received the file!!

I've called NVC twice & sent in a copy of my NOA2 to them to research what happened two weeks ago. Help! Next step? Call USCIS? Get my congressman involved?




9/2010 Met mi amor
3/2013 Mi amor was picked up by ICE
5/26/2013 Married
6/12/2013 NOA1
8/20/2013 Master Calendar Hearing postponed
10/1/2013 MCH postponed again due to shutdown! More time for USCIS to process I-130 before mi amor has to take VD.
12/24/2013 Case transferred to CSC (60 days is 2/22/14)
1/23/2014 USCIS transfer notice 2 back to NBC (Lee's Summit)
1/27-28 USCIS transfer notice 3, 4 & 5 - eventually lands in TSC
2/19/2014 New MCH hearing. Voluntary departure by June 19, 2014.
6/6/2014 Finally have the I-130 interview. Approved on the spot! NOA2
6/17/2014 Mi amor left to comply with voluntary departure order... :cry:

Keep calling, my sister received her NOA2 on June 17, she called yesterday and they told her they just received her file. However, a friend received her NOA2 on June 21 and she received her AOS letter, while another friend received her NOA2 on July 18 and her file is there.

Of course, if you want some piece of mind call USCIS and asked them when did your case leave their center, and keep calling NVC.

I am on the line with USCIS now. Apparently, they don't even have a record that we have been approved, despite the fact that I have the NOA2 in front of me. I am SOOOOOOO PISSED!!!

So the supervisor is sending a request to the service center to see why it wasn't sent and I should get a response by August 16th. I contacted my attorney and congressman also. This is f-ing ridiculous!!! TWO MONTHS and the file hasn't even left USCIS!

It can take up to 8 weeks anyhow, but yes, not having a record you were approved is worrying.
