Hello everyone, my mom was told that the review in our civil documents will be done on the 9th of august. What's next then? Will it be a case complete? And how long is the wait for the interview?

if there are no rfe then u get case complete (as long as they reviewed everything) then you wait for the nvc to contact the embassy for the interview. It took four days from case complete to get an interview date in my case and it's roughly just over a month away ( I just got the date for the interview today btw) Good luck and I hope this process goes fast for you

our case complete was June 12th, still waiting on an interview date... it has taken us longer to get an interview date than it took to get through the NVC stage. Good luck to you....

we were emailed the following letter...the letter was dated June 19th but I called the NVC on June 13 and they said our case had been completed on June 12, I believe interviews for the Philippines are scheduled much faster than for Vietnam. If everything goes as it should then the worst of the waiting is behind us.. stay positive.

Dear Sir or Madam

The National Visa Center has received all documentation necessary to complete pre-processing
of your case. As soon as an interview date has been scheduled, the applicant, petitioner
and attorney (if applicable) will be notified.

The applicant should NOT make any travel arrangements, sell property, or give up employment
until the US Embassy or Consulate General has issued a visa.

The US Embassy or Consulate General may require additional documentation at the time of
the interview. Additional documentation requirements if applicable can be referenced at
the following URL:

Sincerely,

Director
National Visa Center

When is your priority date? You won't get an interview letter unless your priority date is current in the Visa Bulletin.

13JUN2011 po PD nmen.

That's good, meaning your PD is already current.

After your case is complete, usually the wait is another month for the interview letter. If your case is completed before the 20th, you can expect the I/L on the last week of the month up to the first week of the succeeding month.
