Well, Max was immune to my positivity and charm and told me that they do not share any information about employment and procedures so he couldn't tell me if they are working overtime. I asked if he thought that the process would speed up at all and again he said that they are told that the 60 day window applies.

Max sounds like a model employee. Ahhh well, I was no help at all!!!

Thanks Nordic Tim. I know 9 days in the scheme of this 14 month nightmare seems so close. I will try to stay strong, and this forum is so helpful. I can't imagine going through all of this without all of you. If I was sitting at home with no information or hadn't been prepared for the 60 day email, I would really be losing my mind right now.

As much as I try to tell myself my cc is just around the corner, I just really don't trust their frames because they keep changing them. When I first submitted my docs, the website said 2-4 weeks to review. When I got my checklist the cover letter said 20 business days for review. When I called they said 30 business days to review......

Receiving the 60 day email on the my 30th business day (when I was told by Max last Thursday by phone that my case would be reviewed by Monday) really was the straw that broke the camel's back.

Anyone else still waiting for review of docs (esp checklists) scanned 20 June or earlier? I feel like mine has somehow slipped through the cracks as I see they are working on 25th June.

I'm still waiting on my DS-261 to be accepted from June 16. This is taking f-o-r-e-v-e-r (in The Sandlot voice)

On the 60 days email they said that we receive your docs on......

What they mean by receive your docs -- AOS DOCS or IV DOCS -- ??? Or bothh

Can any one help me ??!

In my case I got one last week (Friday I think?) for the IV documents-- I knew it because they said "documents received July 7th" and I sent them on the first, they were delivered on the 3rd, right before the long weekend. Last Thursday, the 31st, I overnighted a checklist response for AOS to them, and today I got a notice saying they had received it on August 1st, and it would be 60 days, an so on... So that took only 3 business days for them to send me an e-mail saying 60 days, and interestingly they confirm a receipt the same as USPS told me on the tracking information, rather than a scan date a couple of days later.... That's a little different than how they were doing things.

I guess for you to figure out the answer you need to look back at when you sent the documents... if you sent the IV packet on July 10th, for example, and it says they received documents on the 14th, it was probably that one... just an example of course... if you sent them together then the e-mail probably refers to both.

I was just throwing my experience out there. It may or may not apply. Take it however you want or anyone else reading this.. The point is... THEY LIE... They lied before and they lie now.

I went through this back in 2008 and 2013. Both times were EXACTLY the same.. lies lies lies.

Just checking in from my "world of Unicorns and sparkles." Everything is great here and I am having a wonderful night. I am going to see my wife in 3 weeks and that makes me very happy. I am blessed and grateful she is with me and that we will be together soon. Everywhere I go people ask me how she is doing and when will she arrive. There are literally hundreds of people who are waiting to meet her.

Think positive and act positive. You create your own karma in life. A positive outlook rubs off on everyone that you will ever encounter, on a daily basis. I am sorry you feel so spiteful and angry. No need to spread that here. I understand bad days as well as frustration, but try to be positive Tico. It will help you, your spouse, your family and everyone else that you encounter in life.

Thanks Soloenta. I called on Monday and may try again on Friday just in case I have a case complete but my AOS hasn't changed. Saw today someone had a CC without it changing, so you never know! I still check the ceac site like a maniac just in case.

Since weekend I have been getting the This case is in the process of termination. Fee payments and online forms can no longer be accepted. If you believe you have received this message in error, or to resume processing of the case, please contact the NVC immediately." message. But I got an email this morning stating that the immigrant visa petition I filed is ready for processing at the National Visa Center. It says to go to http://immigrantvisas.state.gov and click the Pay the Affidavit of Support processing fee. But when I try to do that I keep getting the same error message.

Can anyone give me some feedback as to if this is normal and how long would I have to wait before I can pay the AOS fees? Should I contact NVC about it?

Don't panic.

Your first step is to read Saylin's wiki http://www.visajourney.com/wiki/index.php/NVC_Process and it will tell you everything you need to know.

Note: if you're getting an error message ("Please be advised that the case that you have attempted to access is not eligible for further processing by the National Visa Center at this time…" or "This case is in the process of termination. Fee payments and online forms can no longer be accepted…" or "You cannot make online payments for your case at this time. Please contact the NVC if you have questions or need further information."), do NOT panic. This is actually good news! If you just got your case number, then this message means NVC is inputting your case in their system. If you get this message a few days after case number generation, then it's a good possibility that NVC is invoicing your AOS bill. And if this message appears a few days after DS-261 acceptance, then there's a good chance the IV bill is being invoiced.
