Hello Friends,

I have been reading the vj discussions for quite some time now and finally decided to make my own timeline.

I am still waiting for my IV fees to become available, called yesterday and the guy on the phone confirmed that my DS-261 was finally reviewed and I should see the fees within 5 business days. I'm not sure if I should believe that? I haven't seen an email to confirm the review either.

Don't know what to do.

Hi Romij, Hubby called yesterday and they said same thing like yours... DS-261 been reviewed yesterday and wait 5 business day to invoice... This morning hubby called again to confirmed and same thing they said... No Invoice email... maybe we should wait 5 business day and well see... Godbless....

I received the 60-day email about an hour ago. It is dated 05-AUG-2014.

As with everyone else, the last document received date was slightly off: 21-JUL-2014. In fact it was received on the 18th and according to the phone operators, scanned on the 22nd.

To recap, my last scan is an AOS checklist response and I have an attorney listed on the case.

I'm the USC petitioner. My wife is British (now a USC!!!), generally awesome, and amazingly patient.

YEP DvMan hard to read the complaints of people who got their USCIS approvals in a month or 2 and then complain about the NVC. You are still stuck at the NVC and I am pulling for you !!! GOOD LUCK TO YOU !!!!!!!!!

I finally got the 60 day email, it lists July 15th, which is two days before my AOS was actually scanned in, so I guess that's a small piece of good news.

My question is the following, will I also get one of these emails regarding my IV packet (scanned in on 7/22)? I guess it doesn't matter that much, since obviously the 60 day thing applies to all docs, but I am curious to know what day they will say they received it.

Has anyone gotten two of these emails, one regarding each packet?

Omg to review a checklist?! I thought it was taking a month or so

Right now, they are still reviewing checklists that were scanned about 30 business days ago. The issue is that they have been slipping and not been able to review a full day of scans per review day. Presumably, they are receiving many more petitions and supporting documents per day than they used to. IMHO, it's not unrealistic to expect that it will take NVC 40 business days or more to review a document that was submitted in the last week or two.

I'm the USC petitioner. My wife is British (now a USC!!!), generally awesome, and amazingly patient.
