Wow they are working on 27th. We are the 20th and haven't had our IV docs looked at yet. Let's hope tomorrow despite the 60 day email we received.

Not 27 but I definitely saw a cc yesterday with June 25 date. U will hear good news this week I m sure. Keep checking ceac website. Good luck :)

Your IV is at 30 biz days. When was the last time you called NVC?

You are right. Today is 30 days but I received the 60 day email during the night. I am going to call next week. It is crazy.

I think the e-mail was sent out to everyone still within the NVC. They just probably made a script to automatically send out e-mails to all those with a pending case, not really even considering those that are nearing case complete. I say call MSC13 and Amanda! Get your good news!! I think this will be your week!

Yes, today i also got the stupid email from NVC stating "We expect it will be at least 60 days from the date we received your mail .... ". This is really getting ridiculous ! And there is not really alot we can do - except wait !! And get more angry ! And pass the bad news on to our families/loved ones - that are waiting ! Mine - i haven't seen my wife and child in 1 year and a half ! Of course we chat by skype - but NOT the same! My girl is growing up without her daddy right now ! Really really torture !!!

Did you mean the DS-261? Because I have that note already. If you meant the DS-260, as far as I know, you can't re-open the DS-260 any longer, so one can click all they want on that form.

I'm the beneficiary, wife of USC.
12/30/2012: Got engaged.
1/16/2013: Got married in India.

I-130:
2/28/2013: Attorney mailed the I-130 from a U.S. address.
3/4/2013: Priority date, NOA1.
11/6/2013: Case was transferred to Nebraska Service Center.

1/6/2014: 60 days of transfer are up, put in an e-request, given 30 days' time. Contacted the senator. Senator asked to wait till Feb 6 and if nothing then she will do something.
2/5/2014: Website status changed to RFE.
2/10/2014: Attorney gets RFE. They need G325A and photos of both me and husband, original marriage certificate, copy of marriage record and it's translation.
2/15/2014: Mailed the requisite documents to husband.
2/19/2014: Documents received by husband.
2/24/2014: RFE mailed.
2/26/2014: Case status changed to RFE review.
3/6/2014: After 367 days, NOA2.

After approval kept calling NVC but NVC always had one reply, file was not in their system. Husband too called USCIS National Customer Service Center and was told case was sent to NVC.
4/2/2014: Write to NSCFollowup to know about the status of the petition.
4/10/2014: Put in a ?service request with USCIS starting with OVP to locate case.
4/16/2014: Reply from NSCFollowup that the U.S. law prohibited that office from responding to anyone other than the petitioner and to have the petitioner contact them.
4/18/2014: Sent email to NVC Research to locate the case.
4/22/2014: Petitioner sent email to NSCFollowup
5/14/2014: Receive email from NVC Research that they do not have a record of receiving the petition.
5/16/2014: Congressman's immigration caseworker contacted supervisor at NSC who said the petition is pending and will be dispatched in two weeks.
5/27/2014: Petitioner received response from NSCFollowup that the case was pending an internal extended review. Really?
6/19/2014: USCIS case status change, "On June 19, 2014, we shipped this case..."
7/1/2014: Case received at NVC.
7/14/2014: NVC case number assigned.
8/1/2014: AOS and IV fees invoiced.
8/2/2014: AOS and IV fees paid.
8/5/2014: AOS and IV fees status changed to paid.
8/6/2014: AOS and IV packages mailed, completed and submitted DS-260.
8/7/2014: AOS and IV packages delivered to NVC.
8/8/2014: AOS and IV packages put into the system (scanned).
9/20/2014: Get the 60-day email.

I did call today and no CC. I will keep checking ceac through the week and maybe call again on Friday if nothing has changed. :clock:

I think this will be your week. We got CC on the 28th of July, my wife called in the morning and they said to call back a week later! She checked the website before she went to bed and saw it was N/A. It was hard especially seeing people after you get CC that had different scan dates. I think you will hear something very soon! We will be here waiting to hear your good news :).

Thanks for that. Yes it absolutely stinks doesn't it. You know the worst thing is it just never leaves your mind. It is the first thing I think about in the morning and the last thing on my mind before I go to bed. I just cannot wait to hear those magic words -Case Complete. I have to work tomorrow so I will call on Thursday.

Yours won't be far now. I am watching!!!!

Wow that is just great ..guys Nvc now taking 60 business days f***.i so possed off thats it i m bringing my wife n daughter to me.i havent seen my new born child syill now..

NVC TAKING 60 BUSINESS DAYS..i m damned..i hate this.they dont even give a damn about our family...

People are not reading previous posts. 60 calendar days from the date on your letter. I have been told this twice by NVC on Friday and Monday.

No my wife callled them today the guy said its 60 biz day from last friday..

Have her call back and ask specifically if is "calendar days" or "business days". I have been told twice it was 60 calendar days. Stop freaking out.

Thanks to Almighty God ,i have recived NOA 2 on 31st july. Now i know one thing , again by the help of almighty God , insha Allah i will have visa in hand with in 5 months ....
