Husband got the 60 days email and Is upset with me for making him take the legal path. He was all for fiancé visa and not declaring marriage since all his friends did that. It's been 18 months since I saw him. I wish now I had listened to him. His friends applied in July and his wife has been there since March. It's a punishment for wanting to do things right. I have lost my sleep and peace of mind really.

Many people (including you and me) made a mistake thinking it would be faster to get married and apply for immigration. :oops:

If I had known about this backlog and how long it was going to take to get a fiance visa, I'd have applied for a fiance visa. :oops:

Oh, well. There is no sense of saying "shoulda, coulda, woulda" because you can't turn back time. :bonk:

Exactly it done and it's almost over as well. It's just sad becasue 2 years of our life have gone into absolute waste. I do understand his frustration as well. He sees all his friends go thru wrong way and they are there enjoying their lives. If I had been in his place I would have blamed him as well although I would have known it's not his fault. Whenever we start seeing light at end of this dark tunnel someone stretches it further.

Awwww he must really miss you. Same here im the beneficiary and im the one thats frustrated and impatient and my hubby is the one helping me keep my cool :D don't worry all of this will be over with a blink of an eye and we will all look back and laugh at all this nonsense we went thru just to be with our loved ones.

This is so depressing :( I was in my bed all weekend, I could not step out......I want to kill myself, this just isn't fair :( damn Obama and his DACA amnesty.

I am not sure how you can be so optimistic. Considering the countries and religions of our spouses (my wife is a Muslim and I am not) we're probably going to get AP too. I don't know what to do. I feel like death is the only way out :( This country is so cruel.

I got the 60 delay email today. I had my wife call just for the heck of it. They told her CASE COMPLETE!!!!! As of today our case is finally complete. She called again just to reassure herself and they said yes case complete to wait for our interview date but that it can take a while because there's something going on with the system.

It would be great if Nvc finishes up with June this week! They are already working on June 25 so that means 26 27 and 30 June. Pretty much possible :)

I am not sure how you can be so optimistic. Considering the countries and religions of our spouses (my wife is a Muslim and I am not) we're probably going to get AP too. I don't know what to do. I feel like death is the only way out :( This country is so cruel.

My biggest fear is AP but I must be strong that God will find away since he is the one who put us together. My husband is Muslim also but your wife will most likely not be put in AP because she is a woman. With me it's almost for sure, and I would have loved to go to bed and just never wake up sometimes with some of the things I have heard but the only person I would hurt besides my parents is my husband and I would never hurt them. So I trudge on praying that ALL be well and God will help us. Have faith if you lose it get it back pray it will help and when it doesn't we are here for you my friend. I'm Catholic and as I said my husband Muslim to faiths that in the USA are easy targets for insults. But we will fight on loving each other no matter what others might think. :) So hold on tight for your wife. :D

Your IV is at 30 biz days. When was the last time you called NVC?

I'm the USC petitioner. My wife is British (now a USC!!!), generally awesome, and amazingly patient.
