OMG it was not IV invoice..

I couldn't open the file on my mobile but I thought it was IV invoice coz it has an attached file.

But my husband said it was just a notification that they received our file.

I am going to open the file tonight, but I am shocked.

I am so sick and tired at this point..feels like if is just me or what!!! It's our 1st anniversary tomorrow..& I was hoping that I'll hear the good news this week and here I just received the email from NVC about the wait time being 60 days now..#######....so sick of NVC...I'm at work and now my mind is all messed up..I'm so so sad today :(

I am sorry that you are not with ur husband to celebrate ur 1st anniversary, but you have to wait for another week and I pray u get a case complete.

I think am with you on this. My 60days email says June 10th, which is so incorrect. My AOS package was received June 11th and scanned June 13th {my AOS is already approved}, and my IV was scanned July 31st, so if I want to go by their date, that means today would have been 56th day out of their 60 days quote. So what then happens to my IV package scanned July 31st? Another 60days wait????

I guess this 60days email have been programmed to send out emails in batches irrespective of whatever date they received our documents.

I have a same question, I also receive 60 days terrible email, they said they had received my AOS package on July 7, that's mean I have to waiting for 60 days.

Till now, I'm still waiting for IV invoice. After that, another 60 days for waiting? OMG, ha ha ha, how lovely the NVC is! :goofy:

I feel happy for so many Case Completes this week. That is great.

With the 30 business day mark today we were expecting our IV documents to be looked at but, alas no the email we received was the 60 day one.

However, I was so down last week with this that I refuse to be like that this week. I don't want the children to see me so down as I don't want to infect them with these negative feelings.

So ... Must soldier on.

Love to you all

So happy to see there are case completes happening, even if I am jealous that my docs were scanned earlier than some of them

So, on my 30th business day from my checklist scan date, I woke up to an email from NVC. With butterflies I opened and it's not a case complete, it's the 60 day email. :ranting:

My husband who has been a SAINT through all of this is now p*ssed off and told me to call (until now he has told me to be patient and wait) ha ha. I know if he is annoyed, this is getting ridiculous.

My AOS fee still hasn't changed to N/A, but I am calling anyway……on hold now.

Good morning Amanda

I am exactly the sane as you. Unfortunately I got the ping at 3.00 am and was so excited to see email. I sat up in bed, cleared my eyes ready to read and what did I see .......... the 60 day email exactly on the 30 business day for us.

I am sad and very tired. Looks like 15th August is our 60 days. Hopefully you and I will hear before then.

So glad I don't work Tuesdays. Going to take a nice hot bath.

oh that is total BS.

I so feel for you two (and all the others with this 60 day email).

I still think that it's an automatic email sent to everyone in "process". Meaning, I don't think it will effect those that are near the end.

So Amanda, you still should be hearing CC any minute.

Spoke to Anna, who was the first operator I have ever heard that sounds like she has any compassion or a soul. She was very lovely, but still said unfortunately they have had to extend their review times. She insisted that they do review all documents received in order, which I know is untrue and I pointed out other case completes with later scan dates, but she said it shouldn't be too much longer for me and everyone received the email and there isn't anything wrong with my case. She also said it is 60 calendar days, not business days (which I think most people already know) and so my docs should be reviewed in the next couple of weeks.

We have hit a snag at every step. If I hadn't gotten a checklist, I would have had a case complete in June, now I will be lucky to get a September interview. I hate, hate, hate everything about this. It is just wrong.

I'm wiff you girl, same here just can't catch a break. :(

This is what i got this morning...subject line was "national visa center notification'

*MTL***********

04-AUG-14

Dear Sir/Madam,

The National Visa Center (NVC) received your documents on 20-JUN-14.

We are currently receiving an increased number of approved petitions from U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services. As a result, we are experiencing increased review times for documents received.

We expect it will be at least 60 days from the date we received your mail before we complete the review of your documents. We will notify you when we review your documents.

We are working to reduce these processing times and we appreciate your patience.
