That's funny!!! No, many people are waiting 40+ days. Several weeks seems to be the very least.

Unless you mean how long after they actually process it .... then yes. But, it could take 30 business days for them to "review" it.

Yes, I mean after they actually processed it.

I just got the scary "This case is in the process of termination. Fee payments and online forms can no longer be accepted…" message. Thank God, I had read the Wiki earlier else I would have had a stroke reading that badass message.

The DS-261 is ready to be filled out and I am guessing the AOS should be getting invoiced at this time.

Spoke to Anna, who was the first operator I have ever heard that sounds like she has any compassion or a soul. She was very lovely, but still said unfortunately they have had to extend their review times. She insisted that they do review all documents received in order, which I know is untrue and I pointed out other case completes with later scan dates, but she said it shouldn't be too much longer for me and everyone received the email and there isn't anything wrong with my case. She also said it is 60 calendar days, not business days (which I think most people already know) and so my docs should be reviewed in the next couple of weeks.

We have hit a snag at every step. If I hadn't gotten a checklist, I would have had a case complete in June, now I will be lucky to get a September interview. I hate, hate, hate everything about this. It is just wrong.

How long did it take them to process it for you? We are about two weeks since submitting it and it's still not reviewed.

It took ~25 days. I called this evening and asked what's the status of my DS-261, and the operator said it was processed today. Then I asked how long for the IV fee to be available, she said it can take a week or so..

That's why I'm guessing they truly did process (finish with my) my DS-261.

Well, better than 30 business days I guess. If we get the same treatment ours might be reviewed by the end of next week. sigh

You didn't file tax return for 2012 and 2011, or you just choose not to include them because your recent tax is over the threshold?

Thanks.

Hey there,

We only provided the following:

1) W2 2013

2) 1040 for 2013

3) recent paycheck stub

My spouse filed taxes for 2012 and 2011; however, since my spouse was working as an expat in the Caribbean, we decided just to move forward with income from 2013 in the US and it was fine. The income was over the threshold.

So happy to see there are case completes happening, even if I am jealous that my docs were scanned earlier than some of them

So, on my 30th business day from my checklist scan date, I woke up to an email from NVC. With butterflies I opened and it's not a case complete, it's the 60 day email. :ranting:

My husband who has been a SAINT through all of this is now p*ssed off and told me to call (until now he has told me to be patient and wait) ha ha. I know if he is annoyed, this is getting ridiculous.

My AOS fee still hasn't changed to N/A, but I am calling anywayon hold now.

Good morning Amanda

I am exactly the sane as you. Unfortunately I got the ping at 3.00 am and was so excited to see email. I sat up in bed, cleared my eyes ready to read and what did I see .......... the 60 day email exactly on the 30 business day for us.

I am sad and very tired. Looks like 15th August is our 60 days. Hopefully you and I will hear before then.

So glad I don't work Tuesdays. Going to take a nice hot bath.
