Bad news, I've been able to get my IRS Transcripts online for last 3 years, however, my Joint Sponsor try's to create an account and it causes an error. We now have to order the transcripts by mail or he might have to go to IRS office. So that's gonna be a delay now.

Has anyone been having issues with IRS website?

Ive been unable to create an account either since yesterday?

It took me forever to figure that out! On the interview thread in dwheels first post, she has the link posted in the first post for that.

When you go to type in the EXP # make sure to put spaces in between the year, the date, the month and the A at the end :-)

Hi VJ friends. Had a weekend off of VJ to enjoy a girls' weekend in the city. Such a great time to just relax and forget about all of this process. I did have a couple sneaky peeks at the forum when I was away, but only have just now caught up on all of the posts. Phew! Funny that this weekend was supposed to be a big farewell party for me when we planned it months ago, but I still won't be going anywhere anytime soon!

Was hoping for a CC before I went away, but didn't get one. Called Friday morning (Thurs night US time) and they quoted 30 business days. Checked ceac a few times, but my AOS fee has not changed to N/A. Hoping for something early this week, but won't hold my breath now that they have send out the 60 days letter. I didn't receive it yet, but I wouldn't be surprised at anything anymore. Just when I am so close I can smell a case complete, they change the rules again. Oh well, after nearly 14 months, what difference does it make anymore?

Totally over it now.

We got our CC on July 24th, but didn't see N/A change until July 27th.

So your case could be CC now since there was still all of Friday left.

Fingers crossed for tomorrow!!! And for a September interview!

Yes I tried yesterday and same thing error every single time. I would wait a day I bet they will fix it pretty soon since it has to do with money coming it. Good luck, I know how frustrating it was.

I would say not sending original documents or the wrong ones. I sent attachments of mine to the US Embassy in Cairo and asked them to check if they accept them. they said yes to all and I sent the copy of the e-mail with the document to NVC. Don't know if that was a good thing or not yet.

I would check with the Embassy website you will have your interview at and check what they want, as in where to get them to make sure. Good luck.

One last thing, if both AOS and IV fees are paid, if I have to wait for transcripts from Joint Sponsor its still ok to send in the IV package first?

Yes, you can send in the IV package first. Going to the IRS office should be relatively quick and painless... you should see if your joint sponsor can look into doing that. I believe they just hand the transcript to you right then and there.

Woohoo good advice Soloenta Saylin has said a couple times before that she has never seen a checklist for the DS-260, so no need to worry there. The only checklists I've seen for the IV package are because of incorrect documents (sending the short version of BC instead of full, long one) or sending notarized copies instead of original or certified copies. I've also seen some where NVC just straight up loses things.... no way to avoid that really... just make sure you clearly label everything. I personally feel that including a bunch of other stuff that isn't necessary (photos, whatever) is a good way to get a checklist as well. The reviewer could get lost in all the nonsense and not be able to find the important stuff.
